hey! small life update. my ac is still broke, but i have some portable units running to make the house tolerable. the hottest day is supposed to be tomorrow, so if i get past that, it should be ok from here on out. also, could be a month before i get a new unit! but hopefully my home warranty will cover the whole thing. also, something funky is going on with my plumbing, and i don’t think drano is gonna solve it, so guess who needs a plumber? i love being a homeowner

anyway, i’m slowly getting back into the writing mood, i’m reading some comics to get muse back. i’ve finally decided i’ll be moving blogs! both steve and bucky are gonna become sideblogs on my multi. it’s not that i don’t love them or don’t want to write as much--it’s that i crave having one dash and frankly, i mostly just want to rp with my little 616 corner and i think i’ll be more active if i have everyone in one spot. when i’m closer to moving everyone over, i’ll post links and reblog an official announcement

Well, I’ve moved into the house! Now all I gotta do is unpack everything. Downside is, I don’t have wifi here yet, they’re theoretically supposed to come out this week to run lines and such. Hopefully it’ll get done quick, but uh. I don’t trust like that. So more silence from me until I get that all sorted!

i know i haven’t been around a lot lately and it’s because in the last two weeks i’ve had to

sell my car for junk bc the engine is Fucked

replace the battery in my dad’s car bc that was at end of life

got into a fender bender in my dad’s car and had to bring it to my parents house so it could go to the body shop

pack up as much as i could before coming to my parents house, including my cat

get a car loan to buy a car in the span of a week

continue house renovations, including such hits as:

replace the countertops, the toilet, and the kitchen sink

make 4? trips to lowes because we can’t buy the right parts

no seriously we have fucked up which parts to buy so many times now

and wait! there’s more! like how in this week i’ve also got to

pack up the kitchen and misc belongings

move

unpack everything

somehow, at some point, also transport my cat to the new place

avoid spending anymore money ever again

so.... yeah. i’m scarce bc life decided to fuck me raw

@staff, I have ZERO interest in "The Boys" on Amazon Prime, and I'd really appreciate it if every third post on my dash wasn't a goddamn autoplaying video about it. Maybe I don't WANT to see an animated comic of a woman gruesomely murdered by an out of control speedster superhero? Maybe I don't want to have literally the first thing I see when I open the app be the FULL SCREEN autoplaying video of yet another gory, grimdark superhero take.

Take like three seconds to consider the rest of us and at least give us the power to do like EVERY OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM and click "I don't like this ad" so the algorithm shows us something more tailored to things that don't make me want to rip my skin off.

In conclusion, fuck Amazon, fuck "The Boys," and fuck you for pushing it so hard and giving us ZERO alternatives to violent, triggering media.

sometimes i think i should just type sentences like normal and leave in all my keyboard fuckups so that people understand exactly what i have to deal with because typing with this keyboard that fucking adds extra letters and now! will just repeat any ol key i last entered a few times randomly (shift, space bar, enter, shortcut key combos, and backspace included). it’s very tiring and p much why i’ve stopped writing bc just trying to type a single paragraph or sentence takes so so long
