Look,,,, is she the reason I made this au? Maybe,,,,, I saw her and needed to do something with her! I’m pretty sure she’s a Komainu a-gyō, aka the open-mouthed one of the duo! Who symbolises the beginning of things, which is very cool within the context of the episode.

Plussss I really loved that the Chinese version of female guardian lions always have a cub, so I took some inspiration from there as well! Leo’s always been a little lion after all.
