The deep level of intention: You must feel it before you craft it. Focusing on anger only clouds the result. True intention doesn’t stem from emotion. It emerges from recognizing your power and making the choice to align with it. The purest workings come when the emotional charge is controlled and focused, not erratic and chaotic.

2. Symbolism in Darkness:

You’ll never see a dragon’s scales up close in a storm—yet they guard the mountains. The strongest symbols aren’t the most obvious. They’re the ones that wait, beneath the surface. To those who know how to look.

Intentional repetition: A sigil should not be something you casually doodle. It should be something you engage with until it fades from your mind. The more you see it in different states—emotionally, physically—the more you engrain it in your subconscious. Then it can work in ways you don’t even notice.

The power of the void: Silence is a great vessel. Sometimes, the best spellwork happens when you stop trying. Let things simmer. The void is where potential is—both terrifying and empowering. So, don’t rush your rituals. Allow the pauses. Magic thrives in the spaces between moments.

3. Ritual and Flow:

Timing is everything. Chaos only occurs when you force an outcome. Learn to sense the ebb and flow of energies, of people’s will, and the collective rhythms around you. Understand when the forces are aligned in your favor—timing, the weather, the season, the moon. Harness them, don’t clash with them.

Adapt the ritual to fit the outcome: Not all rituals need candles, incense, or elaborate tools. Sometimes, simplicity is power. Your environment is a tool, but your body and mind are the true altar. Sometimes, all you need is the focus of a single thought and the ability to turn it into physical action.

To Kiaya, about dealing with energy. Have you ever stared out the window and just day dreamed so hard you "see" it interacting with the landscape, or maybe the landscape itself fades from your awareness for a moment? You can use that ability to your advantage! Daydreaming can actually hone your ability to visualize! This can help when you meditate, because that whole "don't think of anything!!!" NEVER works for me. Daydream with your eyes open OR shut... (PART ONE)

I’m not sure how long this has been sitting in my drafts, but thank you for writing this. I’m still struggling with meditation and this makes me feel a lot better about how I try to do it! Hopefully this is insightful to others as well!

Have you ever noticed how emotional energy grows and changes depending on the topic of conversation? Say everyone is talking in a circle, that circle gets filled with good or bad energy depending on what's being said. Genuinely having fun and laughing? Pure positive energy. Discussing how annoying something is? Negatively charged energy...

(PART TWO) ... put colors, smells, textures and even memories to certain emotions. Use that to visualize emotions. To me Happiness is a glowing glitter covered rainbow, whenever I do a spell for happiness I imagine that rainbow circling around whatever my target is (a crystal, person, or myself). You don't always have to ask spirits or deities for borrowed energy, you can, but your own energy is easier to control and is usually more accurate....

Hi everyone! As the title suggests, I'm back in the witchcraft scene. I ended up taking an unintentional 6ish year hiatus from Tumblr in general, but I've decided its time to return to the craft.

I've unfortunately forgotten a lot of what I've learned over these years when I was active, so I'm going to continue to use this blog as a resource for myself and witches of all stages. Reviewing my old posts has been a complete trip! I'd love to return to engaging with the community, so if you want to vent or share anything please shoot me an ask! Eventually I will be able to return to offering advice and answering questions, but I need to get my feet wet first.
