@iradiatechaoticenergy
considering it's black history month, UNFRIENDLY reminder that police brutality and racism aren't magically gone just because joe biden's the president now. keep the energy you did for george floyd, breonna taylor, sandra bland, ahmaud arbery, atatiana jefferson, and many many more these next four years. there's still so much work that needs to be done. we CANNOT give up.
Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.
I’m not here to call anybody out, it’s been in multiple fics, I’m not vague posting. This is just a psa. 👍🏻
If you could help me spread awareness about this by reblogging, I’d really appreciate it.
I’ve had this post on insta saved for sometime ❤️
hey there LGBTQ kids who are also Christian/Jewish! If you feel like you’re disobeying God, questioning your faith, or feel wrong and dirty for loving who you love, there’s this fantastic site I found today called hoperemains that accurately and thoroughly combs through scripture and its (many) mistranslations, validates your orientation, and basically let’s you know that you’re not pissing off God. It’s insanely thorough and after reading through every page on the entire site it’s super helpful. Go check it out!
No no no! Jewish LGBTQ kinderlach! Go to Keshet!
hoperemains is completely from a Christian perspective, and not pluralistic or interfaith at all.
If you reblogged the first post from me please reblog this amendment so the Jewish peeps can access this resource too!
Trans Jewish kids, you can go to TransTorah as well!
Muslim LGBTQ kids, you can go to iamnotharaam! It’s run by a mod squad of different genders and orientations, and they take submissions from everybody!

REBLOGGING THIS AGAIN BECAUSE IT’S SO FREAKING IMPORTANT TO ME AND ALL MY FOLLOWERS TO READ THAT DEAL WITH GRIEF AND GUILT WHILE BEING LGBTQ AND RELIGIOUS
http://hoperemainsonline.com/ Is the new site for hoperemains. Every other link is still active as of 1/9/2020
I’m not religious, but I’ll reblog for my religious SAGA peeps!!! You all rock!!!

I made these in response to hate crimes in my community. They are full size and free to download and print if you’d like to use them, too.
Since these are going around, I wanted to fill in some of the gaps! Here are seven more posters for communities under threat. As with the first set, these are completely free to download, print, share, repost, etc with no credit needed. This is open source activism.
I can never hope to cover every community, but in light of these difficult times, I wanted to make the additions above. Hopefully, you would be able to find the poster you need to respond to any type of violence in your community. These are especially meant for allies who want to state loudly that they are here to stand with vulnerable members of society. Remember: if you just say “everyone is welcome”, some secret bigot agreeing with you is marking an asterisk in their head beside a vulnerable group they hate. Be specific. Stand up. Resist.
Every community is welcomed here ❤️🎉
25 days till my disability hearing and I'm here again. I've got money in collections and bills that have to be paid (like my phone bill so that I can have my disability hearing because COVID) and this is what my bank account looks like right now. I'm hoping this is the last time I will need help but if you can help that would be amazing.

I'm so so sorry about this but I am disabled, neurodivergent, and trans and have no way of working. I've been waiting for disability for over a year. If you can help at all, even just a reblog or boost, that would be so incredible.
Hi loves! I know we're all in this position, but if anyone could help me and my husband out right now it would be amazing. I still haven't received a cent of my disability payments and won't for at least another few months and was in the ER last week. I cannot afford to pick up the 6+ prescriptions waiting for me at the pharmacy. I have sold literally everything I have of value, including my Switch. If you are in a position to help or even just share this post it would be incredible.
in case anyone was wondering, this is Dean Balsamini; the NY Post reporter who doxxed a 23 year old EMT for having an OnlyFans account despite her begging him not to publish the story after he snooped around on her anyway.
aside from trying to make ends meet as an EMT with an OnlyFans gig on the side, she also was working as a part time restaurant host, during a pandemic. this piece of shit reporter went behind her back and informed her employer about her OnlyFans gig. Dean Balsamini and Susan Edelman disregarded the ethics of journalism and published the story as well as the EMT’s name without permission anyway, resulting in a maelstrom of heartache and stress for this 23 year old EMT who has since received death threats and has lived in fear of losing her job—DURING A PANDEMIC.
let Balsamini know how you feel:
A reminder to everyone that outing a sexworker is an act of VIOLENCE as long as we are still fighting for decrim.
My heart goes out to this woman in this horrendous time, especially on today, December 17th: the international day to end violence against sex workers.
Idk who needs to hear this but bisexuality includes trans people. Not "it can" include trans people or it "sometimes" includes trans people. It does. It always has. Any bisexual who says there's doesn't is just a transphobe and doesn't fucking represent what we're about.
“the gay community was never racist”
shit y’all still are to this day
I’m glad my post got around.. ppl need to see some history
In 1984, both African American and Asian American groups fought discriminatory door policies at bars across the city. Henry Chappell reported a double-carding incident at theWatering Hole on Folsom. Wearing a dress, heels, and a shawl, Chappell, an African-American self-identified transvestite, was asked for two forms of picture IDs as a means of excluding him from attendance. BWMT hoped that San Francisco would adopt a regulatory model for admittance based on Atlanta’s carding ordinance, which mandated that no bar could demand more than one valid ID per person.3 In part due to pressure from such actions, the City eventually passed a similar ordinance.
Around the same time, the Asian Lesbian and Gay Alliance (ALGA) conducted an informal study of various S.F. gay bars. One of the organizers later recalled, “White guys could sail through with no restrictions, but once color was added to the mix, the barriers went up.” The Midnight Sun and Castro Station were Castro bars particularly notable for their anti-Asian discriminatory practices. When confronted, the owners rationalized their multiple ID policies by claiming that it was difficult to visually discern Asian men’s age.ALGA picketed the Midnight Sun, attracting media coverage with placards such as“Discrimination in the Gay Community Demeans Us All.” During a KPFA radio debate, one participant recalled a bar owner claiming, “Your people don’t drink,” and “It’s a cruise bar; we would lose other clientele because they don’t want to cruise your type.”

Saw some TERFs spreading these images of @degenderettes and actually everything here is awesome and needs more love.
Bash TERFs, love trans people.
Every TERF that reblogs this with something like ‘this scares me’ gives me life. Good. Make transphobes afraid again.
Transphobia is killing trans women. You have had far too much space to dance on their graves and take away the support systems of the trans women that are still alive. You clutch your pearls over the mere image of violence, when all you have to do to be left alone is not be a fucking transphobe.
All the times they didn’t have to go so hard with these two, but good lord am I glad they did
If I see ANY negativity regarding Elliot’s identity you will be blocked. It’s that simple. I don’t care if you’re sad because we “lost a lesbian icon” or whatever dumb excuse you have. He’s not dead. He’s a person who’s not hiding himself anymore and we should be congratulating him.

all of these, but in an unmistakably gay way, ya know?
Was there ever a way to mistake these as heterosexual
This is not possibly heterosexual in any reality
