Guiding Star

Aaaand some corestrings but I’m nothing if not indulgent

This design got Blasted into me brain so I doodled it out. Probs will use it later on (for corestring hehe) but for now it’s just a draft design. The human face is fake/nonmovable btw~

I’ll need to practice more on the nose as I realized how woefully unused to drawing em (especially a distinctive one). Idea was to make Kris viscerally uncomfortable both as this is something pretending to be “human” and also it being the thing they Want to be (aka a monster/nonhuman).

The heart hair/scales was actually from the pokemon Kommo-o, as I misremembered it having a heart pattern for its scales beyond its forehead. The horns from the mouth was just some “misremembered detail” backrooms style, that and I liked how it looked. And some good ol cage/bird symbolism for the neck bc I Have to add that Somewhere.

Wow it’s been like, nearly 2 whole months since I updated… the power of a vacation huh

My tomodachi game finally arrived and got Viscerally reminded the utter joy of having it unlock the worlds Craziest crack ships

Yes, that’s Koro-Sensei (added during demo as I decided I had to get at least 1 character in love and decided this was the funniest combo) next to my self insert. Funnily right after my insert fell in love with Ainz to, so for the 2 week wait these two were just Hard pining

Still thinking of Unicorn/Centaur mamayuan with baby unicorn/centaur Shen Jiu.

Like, after the whole traumatic ordeal for both of them, SY is like "I am never doing this again" and endlessly spoils SJ to try and make up for everything that happened, feeling partially responsible, and since he isn't planning to ever have another kid, he'll give it all to SJ.

Except, this is PIDW, so SOMETHING happens and SY is pregnant again. SJ can't decide whether to be excited or jealous while SY is losing hair thinking of something happening to this kid too.

Then the babygirl is born and it's on. SY was already very protective of SJ, but after what happened, he is now EXTREMELY overprotective of both SJ and the baby while the herd is away.

SJ was supposed to leave with the herd during the spring since he technically had no reason to stay, but after meeting his baby sister, he's like "hell no, humans are disgusting and my mom lost me once, I ain't risking him losing her too" (he says this out of earshot because he loves his mom dearly and now that he knows that 1) he was never abandoned and always loved, and 2) his mom grows deeply unhappy when reminded of their separation, AND the constant paranoia while caring the new baby, he doesn't want to add to that).

So we have SY with teenage SJ, both excitedly looking at the new baby while she unsteady takes her first steps (idk if in human form or centaur form) (she's very clingy and always want to hug her mama and gege, but she has to be careful because she's stabbed before in her excitement).

Shen Yuan's anxiety would be through the roof but his rationale would help him reel it in. I'd say he stays in centaur form for the sake of Shen Jiu (Shen Jiu now detests staying in human form because of the bad memories associated with it--but he also can't turn into a full unicorn yet because transformation is a skill that's supposed to be taught while young and takes a while to master if learned at any other age) Oh and since SJ is used to his name SY just changes the characters to mean black jade.

Shen Yuan was cut off by the stomp of a hoof, his eldest child turning to look back and glare at him. Shen Yuan could only sigh, falling back in step as he let Shen Jiu guide him forward. This marked the first trip to the human town in about 3 months. If Shen Yuan was capable of making his own baby supplies then he wouldn't even be making the trip.

That's right, Shen Yuan was pregnant again. How was he supposed to know that unicorn spunk could survive inside of the body for years after birth?! Unicorns usually only had one foal--most females didn't produce any more eggs after their firstborn--So where did this child come from?! Honestly, Shen Yuan simply thought that he'd put on a few pounds--passing the pains and cramps off as displeasure from staying in one form too long.

He didn't even notice that he was pregnant until his son, Shen Jiu, started getting extra protective of him. He would kick up fuss every time Shen Yuan would go on a run and herd Shen back to their living space, stomping his hooves as he scolded Shen Yuan. Wait a second, aren't the roles being reversed here?!

Anyways, after finally figuring it out Shen Yuan decided that he was definitely not prepared to raise this unexpected baby--he didn't even have the right materials to keep a child! Which lead him to making a trip to the nearby human town for some materials... Except there was no way in hell Shen Jiu was going to let his obviously pregnant mother go into a human town! Humans were all--... Most humans were malicious, and there was no way Shen Jiu would let his mother get into potential danger. Even if he rationally knew that Shen Yuan was more than capable of handling his own, Shen Jiu was just as protective over his mother as his mother was with him! Not to mention there was also the baby to think about!!

Which brings us here, Shen Jiu scouting ahead with unrivaled paranoia while Shen Yuan slowly trails behind him. 'This kid...' Shen Yuan couldn't help but think as he flicked a bug away with his tail, wondering if he should take the lead to speed up the journey. 'Who birthed this paranoid kid?!' Shen Yuan complained in his mind unseriously, his hooves were killing him. What was supposed to be a quick trip had been 45 minutes of Shen Jiu rearing back on his hind legs at anything that was startling, threatening the whole world for the sake of his mama. A part of Shen Yuan was flattered, but the other part was desperate to hurry this up.

So Shen Yuan did. Shen Yuan surged forward past Shen Jiu, setting a new pace as he trotted forward along the path. Shen Jiu let out an affronted snort and scrambled to match Shen Yuan's pace, opening his mouth to voice his annoyance. The trip went along much faster with the change in pace though, and while Shen Jiu didn't want to say it out loud, he had to admit that he may have been a bit excessive.

I actually surprisingly like it, despite battle royales being one of my least liked types of games. I think due to the slow movement of the characters and the fact I’m not too invested makes it easier to play. And while the game is overall decently balanced, as it’s pretty apparent as you play that some characters are Very liable to get nerfed in the near future (aka soda and her ability to shred people to pieces)

More unicorn Shen Jiu agenda mamayuan au where Shen Yuan’s reborn as like a unicorn that’s cultivated human form or whatever, they’re like intersex so he’s got both genitalia down there. And the body he’s put into is like heavily pregnant and about to burst sometime soon.

Anyways Shen Yuan isn’t too happy about just being thrown into this but he’s going to at least try his best to give his child a good life. It’s nearing spring and the herd SY’s been transmigrated into is preparing to migrate to colder regions, and SY isn’t allowed to come because unicorn babies don’t have a strong enough resistance to the cold to survive the harsh lands they hail from. So he’s going to be separated from his herd for a period of time while he raises the baby.

(Unicorn “mothers” usually lower their body’s temperature to be suitable for the foal, and it usually stays that way until the foal gradually develops the temperature tolerance. Once this happens the Unicorn mother will take the child and return to the herd using the innate locating talent (namely through their horns) and natural affinity that they are born with.)

Anyways Shen Yuan is doing just fine, and he gives birth to a healthy unicorn (in human form, SJ was conceived when the og body was in human form so he’s in human form too). He spends his time recovering from the harsh birth and raising his child with the instincts his body has. He’s recovering steadily until his child disappears one day and he can’t find it anywhere—even with the use of his horn—so he thinks his child is dead and his body gets so extremely mournful and with the hormonal imbalance it pushes his recovery back a long while. Even after he’s recovered he’s not as lively as he was before and roams the forest he’d resided in listlessly. His mind being affected by his body.

Shen Yuan couldn’t find his child (Shen Jiu) because Shen Jiu’s been snatched up and had his horn broken by some old fallen noble couple trying to make a fortune. The couple gets their karma and dies but Shen Jiu’d been raised as a “human” for long enough that he doesn’t really know much about his heritage and isn’t aware of his nature. He only knows that he has a tail and apparently other people knowing about it is very dangerous.

His horn would be broken before he understood what it was, and as a street urchin he was hardly eating enough for his body to grow a new horn and the information about unicorns was limited so he never put the whole “unicorn horn + long tail = I’m a unicorn” thing together.

Right well at the Qiu household he’s obviously nourished and fed well enough because Qiu Jianluo wants to use him as a cauldron and all of the other disgusting things he wants to do to Shen Jiu. Imagine everyone’s surprise when Shen Jiu wakes up with a horn protruding from his forehead? Shen Jiu doesn’t understand it but Qiu Jianluo does and he immediately breaks off Shen Jiu’s horn and starts panicking, wondering if he did it too late.

Spoiler, he did. Shen Yuan’s og body, that was supposed to die of grief, clocks the brief magical signal almost instantly and Shen Yuan goes running immediately. (He’d been in unicorn form in the forest because… why would he be human and living in a forest?) He can’t pinpoint just where the magical signature came from, so he just barges into town with his huge ass Unicorn body and scares the shit out of a lot of people. When he gets to the town he pauses to think, nobody’s going to understand him if he’s a unicorn so he rushes to switch forms and ends up running around in a centaur-like form searching for his child.

He asks everyone he can find questions and eventually some street child points him in the right way by saying he looks almost identical to some boy named Shen Jiu, who’d been sold off to the Qiu household. Shen Yuan latches onto that and books it there. No gates, guards, or half-baked cultivation can stop him. He barges into the manor—which is a surprising feat considering the size of him in his centaur form… that he still hasn’t transformed out of due to how much of a rush he’s been in—and sees Shen Jiu’s broken horn on Qiu Jianluo’s desk (Idiot was planning on using it to refine a body enrichment pill but just left the main ingredient on his desk) and all hell breaks loose.

Shen Yuan is enraged—and not just because his body is willing him to be, but also because of the fact that these guys were abusing a child PERIOD—and he just starts absolutely destroying the manor and trying to rip Qiu Jianluo apart with his bare hands (okay maybe that part comes from his original body).

Anyways so Shen Jiu’s first glimpse of his mama in years is just Shen Yuan raising himself up on his hind legs, a sea of flames behind him—he’d knocked over more than a few lanterns in his blind rage—covered in gore, getting ready to stomp Qiu Jianluo, his abuser, to death while screaming “WHERE THE FUCK IS MY CHILD??”

Played the tomodachi life: living the dream free demo and had a pretty good time. It’s Super in-depth honestly (especially for the drawing sections) so be prepared for a million options for each one you press

Anyways, ended up making Ainz (blorbo supreme) and then, bc I was out of ideas, made a on the spot oc. Which uhh, was pretty apparent to be a self insert (you can take the look alike out of the tomodachi game but you sure can’t take the look alike needed mentality out of the player lol)
