Lady of Guadalupe- but more accurate.
The last piece I made was to reference a specific patch used on a hat. This one is closer to the original iconography.
Once I finish this I have to start working on Halloween. (but Robyn, it’s August?)
I’m decorating 4 cubicles this year. It’s mostly scenery painting this year, but it still needs to be done 😅 No staying up till 3 and waking up at 5:30 for a week straight!

I am finally at a stopping point on my custom Stephen Wilson Jr. jacket! It will never truly be done because I already have 2-3 more patches I want to make, but for my sanity it’s done for now!
This piece is a labor of love and one of a kind. I took elements from Stephen’s hat that he always wears and incorporated them into the jacket. With my friend Cortney’s help I was able to get a photo of “God is Good Life is Twisted” in his handwriting for the back! That song has been a universal truth in my life and I wear it proudly.
One of these days I will be able to show it to him in person (he hasn’t seen the back yet haha), but I was finally ready to share it with all of you ♥️♥️
If I’ve said it once I’ll say it a million times. Go listen to his music. It’s unlike anything else you have ever heard and those lyrics of his will knock you down and pick you back up.
I decided to make a jacket to wear to Stephen Wilson Jr concerts!
Here are all the patches I made. I took elements from the hat he wears and made my own. I still have a few more to make, but I’m pretty happy with the results!
Pretty proud of this hat so far ngl. I have never done couching before.
Even though the piping is not to scale- it still turned out better than I was expecting. I’ve got a lot to go on this piece, but once I start filling it in I think it will go pretty quickly.
Progress of my SWJ embroidery is slow- but it’s happening!
I’m almost done with the outlines and then I can start filling everything in :)
Finally got my floss organized. What a beaut!
My plan for this piece is to pick my colors on the fly. I can plan as much as possible, but once I see the colors in person I always change my mind at some point.
Instead of stopping to go get the color I want- I already got every color I think I will need.

My latest Star Wars Helmet is complete!
I remember freaking out about hard I thought this pattern was going to be, but it turned out pretty straight forward. I still have 10+ patterns I haven’t stitched yet so I’ll get to those eventually.
Here we go! Here’s the start of the biggest project I’ve ever done! I know I’ve been saying that almost every year, but this piece is 11x17 inches fully stitched. I have my work cut out for me that’s for sure!
What better subject than Stephen Wilson Jr? 🙂
The plan is to get it done by July for the State Fair- but realistically it will probably be in next years state fair haha.

Next big project- Stephen Wilson Jr.
I took this photo when I saw him live for the first time and after I edited it I couldn’t help but think of how great an embroidery it would be. From there I made this pattern!
I am determined to get a 1st Place Ribbon at the State Fair so I’m going to try and get this done in time.
Wish me luck because this is the biggest project I’ve ever done (I’m making it 11x17) and I don’t have all of the floss colors picked out yet… I think I’m just going to have to wing it. How thrilling!
