I've noticed a pattern and it's that every time I like someone I be too scared of the assumption of them being mad at me- not in a people pleasing way but in ,"ahh I should stop existing they don't want me around" as if I must get punished for having emotions towards them

I even rarely like someone romantically why is this happening ik they're not mad at me like come onnn they're not! But noooo what if they r n u can't ask them bc then you'll look pathetic but also what if they r n u acted normally so that will make them hate you moreee now ,What?? NOOOOO stopppppp ?@?@?!$#@@111 no one is mad at me no onee!!!!!!!!

Always always always tell people you love they are so smart and capable. I will die on this hill. More often than not people are raised in unforgiving environments that tell them they are inherently “stupid” and not good enough for things, whether that be parents or cruel bosses or unsupportive friends. An underrated way of supporting people is reminding them they are brilliant no matter what anyone has ever said about their intellect and potential.
