                    out of all of her husband’s siblings, yeon hwa strikes her as the                    one she can open up to the least. soon deok and the princess                    were vastly different. if anything, they were almost completely                    opposite to each other. from what soon deok knew about her,                    yeon hwa was born into nobility, finely featured, holding herself                     with outstanding regality even in the faces of those out of her                     favour. soon deok grew up with the smell of steel and the sound                     of war, learning to fight as soon as she walked.                                 one thing they had in common — persistence.                     ( though soon deok did try to be less ruthless in the pursuit                                                        of what she desired. )
