an older lady came up to my checkstand earlier, all aggressive like, “What’s wrong with you??”

I didn’t know what was the problem this time, so I kinda stared at her uncomfortably for a minute, before she broke into a smile like, “There’s nobody waiting here for me!” I guess she had the luck of finding empty checkstands recently, so she was just joking abt how she had to wait for the customer in front of her this time. she proceeded to compliment my necklace and chat w/ me abt dragons
