Spice Unites

An unexpected run in at The Spice Market of Suna leads Chocho to realizing that perhaps a true taste of home isn’t as far away as she once thought.

The sight was more beautiful than any of Chocho’s most far-fetched dreams. The street was lined with booths on either side, each one covered by a lush fabric roof to keep the goods underneath safe from the harsh Suna sun. There were people from all walks of life chatting and laughing as they went about their shopping. They exuded the same happiness Chocho felt permeating every fibre of her being.

The spices were calling her name, begging her to come and sample every last one. This moment proved that all those years of waiting and hoping and nagging had been worth it.

The Spice Market of Suna was truly the epitome of beauty in this world, and Chocho felt blessed to be able to lay her eyes upon it. Her only regret was that she wished her papa were here to see it, too.

I don’t think enough people are talking about Shinki gave Araya the slight ability to control Iron sand !!

He directly said it was to “better protect” his father.

⋆˚꩜｡ Shinki x Araya Headcanons !!<3

- Shinki never actually “came out,” the way he was raised by Gaara was more of a “love whoever you want,” because Gaara would 100% be the wokest parent ever.

- Araya is a huge picture/memorabilia person, he’s got to keep some sort of trinket from important points/moments in his life.

- Shinki isn’t much of a keepsake person, but anything he’s given he will keep dear to him.

- Shinki gets super bothered with young children and is super awkward with them, it’s the one time he lets down his shield, he just stands there awkwardly, but kids are drawn to him like is iron sand.

- Araya is super good with kids, but they tend to be afraid of him and stray away

- Araya fell first, Shinki fell harder.

- Team Shinki is often found just wandering around the village, sometimes up to in-village missions but they’re also found just taking strolls around the village, Yodo and Araya do most of the talking while Shinki just listens, making his own remarks every now and then.

- Shinki would be a writer while Araya and drawer. In an AU they’d write and illustrate together.

- Shinki tans, Araya just burns.

- When ever they go on missions deep into the desert on the extremely hot days Shinki makes sure to pack extra sunscreen, when asked about it he’d just say “my father gave me extra,” Araya would believe him but Yodo would send him a look.
