I made this gimmick blog after tripping and for some reason getting extremely philosophical about what circumstances make a murder ok/wrong. In the morning when I read it back sober it was completely insane and nonsensical so I made this blog as a joke to assess various murders and state if they are ‘ethical’ according to the text. Fyi, ‘The text’ as I call it, is extremely disjointed and difficult to navigate so I might make mistakes or contradict myself but I’m always willing to reassess verdicts!

Truly disheartening to see what America has come too when UNETHICAL ICE POWERS are being used in our great nations sports (bill Clinton’s America)

This murder is unethical for a number of reasons!

1. The use of nature. In this case the nature is ice, which the attacker is harnessing with his ice powers

2. Sport killing. While I am not certain of this being a sport killing, hearing the cheers of the audience as the victim is crushed and shot with ice powers leads me to believe that this killing is for a perverse entertainment (FORBIDDEN!)

3. Inescapable environment. The victim is in a caged environment, unable to attempt to run. On top of that there is a large crowd further preventing any meaningful escape.

Possible;

4. Unsuspecting victim. Again I’m assuming that this man stepped into the ring willingly, however it is not typical for boxing matches to result in death. LET ALOME death by ICE POWERS which presumably the victim would not have considered a possibility during combat. So if the assailant broke the agreed terms of combat this killing would be disqualified no matter what

Deeply disappointed in you magical boxer! PLEASE bludgeon your opponent to death next time and refrain from using your powers ever again!

While shaggy is merely threatening to do such a thing to our dear Zakari, if he were to do so, it would be ethical!

He did do an amazing job with the verbal warning so I will give him bonus points for that and for using the weapon of his hands. However, while I believe shaggy would NEVER act against ethical murder code… there is room for error. He would have to be considerate of the following:

1. Ripping the spine out from the FRONT not the back.

2. Making sure his face is not covered

3. Not doing so in Zakaris home or in front of any of his loved ones

4. There is a slight clause where I BRIEFLY mention ‘sadist excess of force’ but his mannerisms is part of his brand and could be considered justified, plus I imagine it would be a quick death anyways! So unless it’s a sexual thing for shaggy, this should be ok!

I have faith in him to do the right thing and rip out that man’s spine while making eye contact, flaccid as can be, like god intended. Good job shaggy!

Are explosions an unethical way to murder somebody?

If so, would it still be unethical if you tell the person you plan on killing before blowing them up?

Please forgive me if you have already outlined whether or not explosions are ethical, I haven't seen all your posts yet

You are forgiven my child! Thank you for asking >:] I haven’t outlined much on my blog but this question has me pondering.

Short answer:

Explosions are unethical

I think you could find a way to make it ethical

Extremely long answer:

I try to avoid making personal judgments and just follow the rules I wrote because it’s funnier that way but bc I wrote it under the circumstances I did, sometimes it really requires some subjective interpretation (Like the Bible) but i usually give specific examples that help clarify a lot, and I tend to default to those.

So explosions are considered UNETHICAL!!! because and I quote, “pick a weapon based off skin. Your victim cannot be killed by the weapon easier than they are simply wounded. (Firearms, bombs, most machinery, and flais)”

So firearms is prohibited and so is bombs and I would assume explosions. But it is more interesting if you tell someone “I am about to explode you rn”

There is a section too abstract to post without editing lmao where i basically talk about a situation where if you are pointing a gun at a animal you are hunting and someone stands in front of the barrel and refuses to move. If you tell them repeatedly I am going to pull the trigger, you try to reason with them, warn them, and they still don’t move. You cannot be faulted for pulling the trigger.

I give some other examples but Basically I’m trying to express the idea of someone putting themselves in danger at your hands without your consent. Someone forcing your hand.

What’s interesting to me about this section Is I specifically given an example involving firearms which are again UNETHICAL!

But it talks about someone forcing your hand in the same section it also states “motive, mindset, execution, victim, and circumstance” as the quote “five pillars of murder”(amazing sentence) and that it’s possible to have an ethical execution but an unethical motive. BUT I also say that motive and circumstance can override the others in situations of self defense and ‘unwillingness’

So. I think you have found a loophole where you COULD kill somebody by explosion! But it would have to be under specific circumstances

1. In self defense under any conditions you can explode someone

2. If you have a well marked bomb or explosive that you are using to defend your property or wtv and it is just so clear that if you walk here you will explode and someone does it anyways

3. If you were like a scientist doing an explosion experiment and some guy refused to move out of the blast zone even after you asked him multiple times

But it would be UNETHICAL if you hid a bomb and simply told someone “I am about to explode you” and then did it. Because it was your intention from the beginning to explode that guy. Or if you set off on explosion that wasn’t supposed to be for murder originally but you knew someone unsuspecting would be killed in the process

d) little girls out here writing like "aunt melanie's skin was sloughing off the bones as her beloved dogs tore her apart, turning on her in blind animal instinct. the second she stopped providing food, she became food." and a lot of body horror and dark themes about group pacts and betrayals and ritualistic murder/sacrifices. like a lot

Both the murders that these little girls outlined are unethical! While getting eaten by dogs is not a murder, the last sentence gives us further UNETHICAL examples of murder that are disqualified for the following reasons:

1. Any killing done in sport or by a group is unethical (the text does specify that a religious sacrifice like a stereotypical Incan/aztec one, committed by all consenting parties, without cruelty, based off a system of tradition, and believed to be for the greater good is ethical. I am assuming that these sacrifices the girls are writing about are not traditional religious sacrifices and rather ones that were made up by the girls specifically)

2. Any murder involving betrayal is unethical

3. Any murder involving a group killing one victim is unethical (group pacts)

How many Danganronpa murders are ethical?

This is a great question! I have never played danganronpa but I’m pretty sure that what that teddy bear is getting up to would be considered sport killing; I’m also not sure of how old the victims are or if they are facing retribution for something they did, but either way I think it’s very possible that they would be considered unethical simply because of the fact that it is a danganronpa murder.

Butttt I think it would be fun ignore that and go through the actual executions one by one and see if they are ethical on their own. When I get off class I can do that if any of my loyal followers have any specific executions they want me to categories lmk >:]

The magician has actually committed impeccable form in this murder! He is face to face, states his intentions, and then throws at the target. there are certain means where using a projectile object that kills in less than three strikes is prohibited, but I’m assuming that is speaking about ranged weapons, and the manner in which the wizard throws the brick feels very fair, gives the goblin guy a chance to move. If he had thrown a grand piano or a 100 bricks i would say it’s unethical but I think the sport of the text would approve of the brick. Especially considering what a good job the wizard did when asserting his intent and giving the goblin time to react.

This is a wonderful example of how to commit an ethical murder! Good job wizard!

UPDATE: NEW INFORMATION RECEIVED-

This murder is a gray area! (Lengthy elaboration below cut)

From this new angle I have gained new insight into this murder.

Here we can see that Miku was not completely a passive victim. At the beginning of the clip we can see Miku jumping off a building towards the Sabrinas, firing a gun, but she doesn’t appear to be aiming it at them.

When she lands on the storage container, she puts away her gun and switched to light sticks, which she proceeded to attack a Sabrina with. Now, I’ve never played Fortnite seeing as I am not a middle school boy, so if anyone would be kind enough to elaborate, I would appreciate it. But I presume enough strikes from the light sticks would be fatal.

This complicated things, because if miku was attempting to kill the Sabrina she struck, then that Sabrina, or any of her fellow associated Sabrinas would be able to defend themselves in combat.

However, if we are considering Miku’s weapon to be the light stick, then the attempted murder on Mikus part would be completely ethical. And because Miku followed code, shooting a gun at her no longer is self-defense but bad sportsmanship, making it unethical on the part of the Sabrinas.

But I think it’s important to consider the following factors:

1. The Sabrina she struck actually did switch to what appears to be a melee weapon, if she killed Miku with this then it would be completely ethical.

2. The Sabrina that was struck did not fire upon Miku. But if the shooter was defending her brethren, the attacked Sabrina, it would be ethical. If the correct methods of killing were used.

3. Miku stopped attacking and began to dance… I’m really not even sure what section to look into for this one. I guess she’s not actively trying to murder them?? But I still think if someone starts trying to kill you and then they start emoting randomly you don’t have to stop and wait for them to start fighting you again, so I think it’s probably ok on the Sabrinas’ part.

4. Most importantly, Miku WAS firing a gun, and then proceeded to attack one, it would not be a far stretch to assume that the Sabrinas considered her armed and dangerous, and proceeded to act in self defense under the assumption that Miku was going to fire upon them

Possible:

5. If Miku was attempting to kill the Sabrina she hit it could be disqualified because the Sabrina is with her friends, but I’m giving Miku the benefit of the doubt and saying that the Sabrinas just met.

6. If the Sabrinas don’t know each other very well it also complicates things. There is a Good Samaritan clause, stating that if you see someone who is being killed you can step in. Seeing as you have reason to believe the victim has not committed an offense against the code, you either ethically attack the assailant with a mele weapon or you can POINT a firearm at the as a warning.

6.5. The text says that if the assailant is using a gun then you may use a gun, as the ethical laws do not apply if you are defending yourself (applies to good Samaritans). And it says you can threaten the attacker with a gun no matter their weapon. Now after this, where the text presumably would elaborate upon if you were allowed to fire the guy at attacker wielding a melee weapon, it devolved into a intelligible string of letters and numbers, making it difficult to tell.

7. Lowkey feel like the Sabrina that shot Miku was just shooting Miku bc she wasn’t a Sabrina (would then become gang violence and that’s not allowed)

Given all of the factors and circumstances of the mindset, intention, and knowledge of both Miku, the attacked Sabrina, and the Sabrina to shoot Miku, I have found it too difficult to place a ruling at this time.
