Sorcus's "grim reaper" role was really him collecting code scraps from people who died as well as him properly laying them to rest/be in peace since souls in rest become faulty and can tend to cause bugs/glitches. Often he used those code scraps he collected to fertilize the lands or provide power to the people who needed it. This ensured that Okodomos also remained stabled in places where the code "stabilizing" it is weaker at its job and maintaining Okodomos's health in general! Then Sorcus got fucking bored and started doing things outside of his job - and eventually het got interested in writing. Across all his lives, writing was always his hobby. And yeah, at some point, using his powers, he kinda "loopholed" it( idk how to explain it ) and made it so HE would be continuously rebirthed.

sorcus in his first life as the grim reaper was NOT immortal. He had insane longevity, sure, and likely lived for hundreds of years for a while, but he was NOT immortal. So that's why he did this.

Paradoxical time thing, Sorcus was smth similar to a Grim Reaper that before the existence of some more technology advances helped yield the dead( and agriculture lol ) Anyways Sorcus ended up kinda setting himself up for a "continuous" reincarnation thing. So Sorcus, WAS Xargas since Xargas was one of his past lives. But also, Xargas is Sorcus's ancestor canonically. And Sorcus kinda just cheated himself into the same bloodline until he was born as a woman who happed to give birth to himself( aka "Sorcus" ) And as for that woman life he had? died during the childbirth and then immediate switch to the kid The rebirth cycle was kinda stopped when he became Sorcus though because he was granted full immortality by the Admins
