she was my first love and we were madly in love. however, I was too young for serious relationships and chose career over love.
Now Iâm 30, recently I met her in a shopping center, sheâs now happily married and has a son. We sat in a cafe for four hours talking about everything, we both confessed we had the best time of our lives together.

A letter from the previous owner!
Hi everyone! I've had this blog since college and its crazy to think that was 7 years ago. Thousands of posts. Tons of love. This place has been my safe haven in a very tumultuous world where I didnt feel I could truely be myself on any other form of social media. But due to unforseen circumstamces and alot of self reflection as well as advice from others I have made the difficult decision to move on and start over with both accounts. It is sad to see this place go and I feel I have left myself on these pages for everyone. I have left the blog in very capable hands to do with as she will. I sincerely hope that she will find as much joy as I have in these pages and enjoy the followers I have grown to love. Anyone that wants is welcome to ask about my new spot once I'm set up and id love to hear from all the lovies. Kisses and hugs and all my love.

1 am thoughts after the week I have had. Trust few and love fewer. I'm tired of being a bleeding heart. I worry about people ive never met, concerned for the hearts of others, while a hands in my chest ripping out my own. Somedays I wish I could stop being an empath. Some days I wish I could hate people. Ill have to settle for silence instead.
Empaths
An Empath is a person who has the ability to feel and share other peopleâs feelings and pains. Empaths are very sensitive to their surroundings, what they eat, and who they are around. Â Naturally, Empaths are kind, good-hearted, spiritually attuned, and excellent listeners.

Ways to cope with Empathy:
Allow yourself to have lots of quiet time without electronics. Curl up with a book and put on soothing music instead.
Take time out of your day to sit in nature
Pet a dog, cat, horse, rabbit, etc.
Meditate
If crowds are overwhelming, eat a high-protein meal beforehand (this grounds you) and sit in the far corner, not dead center.
Ground yourself
Cleanse your space, aura, and chakras of negative energy
Practise breathing exercises
Carry or wear protective crystals
Develop a energy shield for your body

Okay, at this point there has to be something wrong with me, right? Iâve watched this 20 times in the last half hour, I still donât know what they are saying half the time, but it doesnât seem to matter because iâve been crying my eyes out laughing for the entire last half hour âŠ
what the fuck is this from i gotta know
itâs called letterkenny and itâs about a man who gets dumped and then goes on to shirk his pacifism and reclaim and hold his title as the toughest dude in the rural town of letterkenny ontario. every episode cold opens like this in increasingly bizarre ways.
I read the bit about not being able to parse whatâs being said and then I read the bit about it being set in this fuckin province, and I thought, like, what kind of accent could they possibly use that was so incomprehensible while still setting it in northern goddamn Ontario? and actually, okay, you know what, despite having lived immersed in it my entire life Iâm not sure iâve ever seen this exact accent on tv before, it is just weird to see actors using it
My cousins grew up with the guy who wrote this show and is the main actor. Itâs scary accurate for hick town Ontario (itâs based on the town of Listowel) and apparently some of the characters are based so closely on real people that theyâve recognized themselves while watching.

People easily mistake neurodivergent speech patterns and communication styles for run-of-the-mill pretentiousness.
I donât want to get too specific right now, but a lot of people who are neurodivergent (namely autistic, but thereâs lots of overlap) struggle with communication. To them, writing/typing may be far easier and more natural than speaking aloud, but it can still come off as unusually formal, overly precise, or more awkwardly structured than usual. Sometimes itâs interpreted as âpretentiousnessâ because it doesnât have the same casual cadence many neurotypical writers may use.

Not offensive so much as irritating, I guess. Itâs low-hanging fruit and easy to mock whenever people pick up on something âoffâ about you.
Other times, people assume that you employ formal language or âadvancedâ vocabulary because youâre trying too hard to sound intelligent or superior. What you intend to be clear and specific may be interpreted as condescension.
The curse goes deeper; you can look back at your own writing days/months/years later and think, âWow. Whoâs the pretentious dickbag who wrote that?!â and then
