Imagine if the whole anchor!Bonnie storyline focused on what Bonnie gained from her new supernatural position instead of being a tool for the writers to torture her???

Like Qetsiyah made Bonnie an immortal for all intents and purposes, since she died the night of her high school graduation, she didnt stop being a ghost, she just became a ghost that can interact with the physical world since being anchor made her have one foot on either side of the living world and the other side, she could have had her magic since there was nothing stopping the ghosts witches from using their powers and I think if Bonnie stayed the anchor for longer she could have probably discovered this ability.

Out of all the immortals seen on the show, she would have been the first true immortal in the sense that she could die temporarily then come back just like the ghosts did during the mf gangs graduation episode.

The vampires including the originals are all undead and need blood and can be killed, but Bonnie would not have this same weakness.

She could have even side stepped the issue of dying from too much magic, so many people assumed she would grow old and die etc as the anchor but actually nothing about her being anchor meant she suddenly became mortal.

Technically she would have become the first immortal witch without being punished by nature for upsetting the balance or whatever unlike Hope, Bonnie comes from the Bennett witch bloodline and has more powerful magic.
