modern tgm au where “freak show” is put on youtube and goes viral. grinpayne gets stan accounts and fancams and “anyway, stan grinpayne” becomes a normal phrase to see on twitter. he gets a dm from @duchessjosianaa on instagram and she tells him to meet her at the riverbank, a club downtown. he goes and is then taken in by her family and becomes a lord and stan twitter goes fucking insane

What kind of elemental bender characters in Hadestown would be and why (Yes I’m rewatching ATLA and reliving simpler times shh):

Orphues - Air: he’s optomistic, naive, bold, can be restless, etc and I can make an wind instruments (pun). Alternative would probably be water.

Eurydice - Earth: hardworking, adapts to change, strong, can be pessimistic. More I think about it Toph and Eurydice share some qualities: girls who have ran away and are very independent, sassy, funny, etc. Alternative would probably be fire (mainly so she can light her candle but other reasons too lol).

Hades - Fire: strong-willed, analyzes things, assertive, powerful, selfish, arrogant, impatient. Hadestown is both too hot and bright due to flames and electricity (*cough* Ozai *cough). Alternative would probably be earth but fire is wayyyy too perfect for Hades so yeah.

Persephone - Water: strong sense of community, genuine, idealistic, loyal, change. Perspehone would master healing easily and would only use blood bending on the worst of people. She would love plant bending too. Alternative would probably be Air because she’s fun loving, charming, etc.

Hermes - Water: strong sense of community, well organized, idealistic, judgmental. People travel by water. Air is the alternative.

Fates - Fire: I’m leaning more towards fire but can also see them being water. Maybe non benders but insanely talented with weapons.

Hope y’all enjoyed my brain at 1 am on 4 hours of sleep and in live with ATLA and Hadestown. (Yes I did the opposite elements for the couples shhhh)

One thing I noticed while watching a Hadestown boot is in “Gone, I’m Gone” after Hermes blows the whistle, Eurydice is descending to Hadestown, and right before the Fates start singing: they all pull down little veils to mourn the lost of Eurydice which I think is an amazing touch. I don’t know if they did this in London but this subtle detail makes the Fates so amazing to me. Just wanted to share that little thing I found, hope everyone is safe and healthy ❤️
