Yknow it's interesting how little the average glasses wearer knows about what to look for. I certainly didn't before I started working in the field. Like, for example, did you know that how the lenses are *shaped* is a matter of quality? Sometimes the process of "surfacing", grinding the lens to shape, is done by hand, and sometimes that grinding is done digitally, in what's basically a really specialized CNC machine. It can really improve the vision you get with the finished lens.

Next time you're shopping for glasses, make sure you ask if the lenses have an amazing digital surface.
