Como nunca nos hemos dado a la tarea de hacer un reel histórico de todos los proyectos que llevamos editados, la resultante es “Claquetas” y nos llena de orgullo estar participando de una gran parte de la historia de la publicidad mexicana. Imposible dejar de agradecer a todos los directores, fotógrafos, creativos, técnicos, asistentes y especialmente a los claqueteros!
El proyecto se llevó a cabo recolectando el material de más de 60 publicidades editadas en Juan B Justo, estimamos que el total de discos conectados dan la módica suma de 200 TB. Los proyectos fueron filmados y/o grabados en 35mm, 16mm, Red Epic, Alexa, Sony F100, Canon 7D, Canon 5D, Blackmagic, GoPro y Phantom tanto en SD, HD y 2K 4K, y un proyecto en 6K.
Fue editado en #FCPX por un período de dos semanas y la edición consta de 262 cortes en 75 segundos de duración.
Final Cut Pro X es la plataforma perfecta para mezclar todas las cámaras con sus respectivos codecs y resoluciones, inclusive hemos mezclado frame rates, ya que varios proyectos (los más antiguos) se encontraban a 30fps.

Although I’m looking forward to spring/summer, I’ll be sad to see our backyard rink go. It’s been another great winter for outdoor skating and my two boys took full advantage. Despite getting his butt kicked by his older brother, my youngest son’s skating drastically improved over the last 3 months. No children were harmed during the filming of this video. Thanks to my wife Kelli for helping me shoot this past weekend and for putting up with my non-stop camera obsession. In this (quick cut style) video, either a person, object or thing is centered in every scene. Here’s a whole bunch of good ol’ Canadian hockey in under one minute. Crank it up on a good sound system or use headphones for a better overall viewing experience.

“Hyperjump”
Kinetic light sculpture by Tundra collective. First Cadets Corps, St.Petersburg, Russia, December 2014
“Hyperjump” was created as a site-specific work for one of the halls of the former First Cadets Corps, which is now being reconstructed as a study spaces of Saint-Petersburg State University. The nineteenth-century hall has a sports ground with a basketball court , built here in a soviet time. “Hyperjump” explores the idea, set by this paradoxical combination: the basketball court, representing the physicality, we have from the nature, together with the architecture of the classicism period, the symbol of the human rationality. 25 moving head light beams on a truss stands and a powerful sound system were installed along the hall. While the light sculpture started to move, the electronic light devices came to life, turning into the actors themselves, bringing the light, shut in the strict geometry back, to its unpredictable nature.
