A sprinkle of Taylor Swift's wedding guest list:
Steven J. Demetriou, Executive Chair of Amentum Services, the sole contractor for an ICE Camp in Texas. (The man literally runs a concentration camp.)
His son, Steven J. Demetriou Jr, a Republican member of the Ohio House of Representatives (as in, a MAGA politician.)
Brad Pitt, a man who violently attacked his family on a plane, was arrested by the FBI, who recommended he be charged, and whose 5 children have all dropped his surname and gone no contact.
Jason Sudeikis, a man other comedians have called out for undisclosed abuse, who leaked revenge p*rn of his ex-wife. (Naked photos of her when she was pregnant with their daughter).
Sacha Baron Cohen, a proud and loud Zionist.
Taylor, by the way, put out a statement via People Magazine the second the ceremony ended (while the reception was still happening) saying that Blake Lively would have disturbed "Taylor's peace" if present at the wedding.
Meaning, ICE camp executives, MAGA politicians, domestic abusers, revenge p*rn publishers, and Zionists do not disturb Taylor's peace in the least.
Fuck billionaire, MAGA, ICE-lover, domestic abuse apologist, and Zionist Taylor Swift.
And, as always:
For anyone wondering, the PhD student's name is Myra Cheng.
Here's a link to an article about the study from the Stanford Report: link.
Across three preregistered studies, participants interacting with sycophantic AI became more convinced of their own rightness and less willing to repair relationships. Yet at the same time, participants rated sycophantic AI models as higher quality, more trustworthy, and more desirable for future use, which may explain why this behavior has persisted despite its harmful impacts.

On a mission to try to ignore every single bad review and even criticism for Supergirl 2026 because I genuinely, wholeheartedly disagree with all of it so I don’t wanna hear it or see it. The normal criticism for the movie also seems so forced like I saw a reel of a woman say something like Supergirl 2026 lacked soul and that she was not rooting for any of the characters. And that the two needle drop moments were bad and the last needle drop fight moment was especially awkward to watch.
I understand if people don’t like the needle drop moments, everyone has their own tastes and that music might not resonate with everyone, I get it. I personally think that song was a bold choice and genuinely made me giddy with excitement. I have my own opinion of why they chose that cover of The Middle by Jimmy Eat World and I think it was a wonderful choice. The girlies who get it, get it
But to say that the “movie lacked soul” and that you were “not rooting for any of the characters” just makes me think, did we all watch the same movie??????? Lacked soul???
Honestly it’s getting a little difficult for me to ignore all of the hate against this movie because it all just sounds really stupid to me. It’s too forced.
Sometimes I forget that I like things. Like I get so consumed by my own bullshit, that i forget about all the things that bring me joy
Its quite sad that the only way a woman led film can be seen as successful and good is if it's perfect. Women are not given the same grace as men in films. A movie with a leading man is mediocre? He did his best and it's just a one of. A movie with a leading woman is not perfect? Shes a horrible actress and is the only reason things went wrong.
It may not be as common with original movies and stories, but it's a genuine problem with legacy media and projects.
Supergirl is by no means a perfect film, but I would rather the same as I would superman as a film. It doesn't deserve the treatment it's receiving. Milly alcock doesn't deserve the shit she's receiving for playing a woman who isn't dolled up and perfect.
Repeat after me:
Transmisandry does not exist.
Trans men are not systematically oppressed for being trans men.
They are systematically oppressed for being trans.
That is literally transphobia.
So that means that transwomen are not oppressed for being trans women, but just for being trans, right?
Trans women are oppressed for being women & for being trans.
Why would a conversation about how trans men aren’t oppressed for being men “mean” anything when it comes to trans women?
This is literally “soo if unicorns don’t exist then neither do horses!!! CHECKMATE SJW” logic.
Transmisogyny is literally the cross section/overlap of transphobia and misogyny. Therefore, transmisandry is the cross section of transphobia and misandry. And we all know misandry doesn’t exist, soo….

It's genuinely bizzare to me, how much merch I see for the supergirl movie that's lobo and krypto, when the leads of the film are ruthye and kara. They're both amazing characters and I'm genuinely mad that there's barely any merch for ruthye.
A thing I really appreciate about supergirl is that Kara is never shown to be pretty. Yeha she is pretty regardless because they casted millie fucking alcock but the never show her to be put together. They let her be messy. They let her be rude. They let her fuck up. Every time we see strong confident women in media they are always wearing the tightest bodysuit and look beautiful even when they have been beaten to shit. Not here. Every scene Kara is in she looks like a car had run over her. And they don't "transform" her and make her look prettier by the end to show that she has started to heal. Nah they keep her like that and they change how she acts. I love supergirl.
I'm honestly kind of pissed off with how many bad faith takes I've seen on the internet about the supergirl film. It's not a perfect movie, and it does struggle with some of the same issues as superman, but people are treating it much more harshly, mostly for the fact that it's a woman led superhero film.
There are so many incels getting mad at milly alcock for no reason other than the fact that she's not quiet off set. The amount of loser who are obsessed with Rachel zegler, who can't stop bringing her up and comparing her to milly, all because milly had the audacity to talk about the character she was playing outside of the context of the other male characters in the universe. People are crying over the fact that she acknowledged supergirl as being equals with superman.
The movie is damned if it does good in the box office and damned if it doesn't. I just hope that it doesn't affect the characters later down the line and doesn't stop the studios from making more well made woman superhero films
Some spoilers for supergirl 2026
I think that the movie is lowkenuinely such a great introduction to the character of supergirl to people who haven't read her comics (part of that group but it will change very soon). in just and hour and 50 minutes, we're able to understand the reasons why kara is the way she is. There is so much good in her heart, despite the rage and pain she carries. I love the part in the movie where her mom said that she can be tough, and she doesn't need to be kind, she should be good.
This movie does a fantastic job at showing supergirl as separate from superman. She isn't superman on girl form. There are layers to her character that make her very different and incredibly interesting.
I know nothing about the comic Supergirl is based on or the themes it carried over from the comic aside from what I've seen folks mention, but I keep seeing stuff like how Lobo was cool but ultimately pointless as a character.
Lobo was actually very important to the movie as a foil to Kara in Ruthye's arc. He is not on the same level as them as a protagonist, but he needs to be established as a character early enough to give his presence some weight.
Because the real meat of his presence in the movie is his conversation with Ruthye where she says Krem killed her family for no reason, "for sport", and then Lobo calls that a reason. And then talks about how he kills for money. He's outright enthusiastic about the potential of her becoming a killer herself while Kara doesn't want that for her.
For Kara, no reason, not even revenge, is enough for Ruthye to carry the weight of taking a life, but for Lobo, who views sport or money as good enough of one no matter how superficial, revenge is definitely enough.
That's also why he was witness to the final scene with Krem. Because of what he represents in her arc, he needed to see Ruthye walk away from the path he wanted her to take and choose Kara's. And he needed to see Kara do the final blow because of what Kara represents: being good but not nice. She may take this life and carry that with her, but it still won't make her anything like him.
Supergirl is genuinely amazing. Definitely worth the watch. Milly alcock is perfect for kara. Don't listen to the idiots who are shitting on her just for the stuff she has said before the movie even released.
"You're not always nice but you're kind. And you're not perfect but you're good,"
Supergirl 2026 CHANGED me, please don't listen to assholes online who tell you not to see it. Especially if you're a girl or a young woman- this movie is for you.
I have a crush on supergirl now.
