I just know that after the “Cursed Child events” Hermione kept shooting daggers at poor Padma who had no idea what is going on and no one knew how to explain to her that Hermione is jealous bcs in the alternative reality caused by her nephew’s time travel Padma was married to Ron
New "Cursed Child" script
So it's canon that Ron and Hermione get down to it in her office during working hours
...am I just here, taking notes for my fanfic? Maaaybbe...
My dirty headcanon is that EVERY person in a higher position within the ministry (the heads of the different offices, the heads of departments right Harry? and yes, minister included obvi) is going to "inaugurate" their office in one way or another during their term.... ;)
*wink wink smirk smirk* XD
I saw you Hermione Granger in the West End production removing that portrait from Harry’s office because it was whispering behind your back, and I have pretty good guess where you got the practice with that spell. There are no portraits in Minister’s office as they’d have too much to talk about with you and Ron in there.
Not to be dramatic but I’d give my kidney for Cursed Child bootleg with Jade Ogugua as Hermione
I don’t want it to sound wrong or like some horrible reversed compliment but seeing Amber, Philip, Eva and Reeve really reminded me how well it works when Hades and Persephone look and act older (like the middle aged couple) than Eurydice and Orpheus (young lovers)
There can be many answers to the question who in the canon is the biggest Romione shipper. Is it McGonagall? Harry? Filch maybe? But I know one thing for sure whoever it is has that position only because James and Lily Potter aren’t around to be the real number one
romione:
(with her books)
Can we actually talk about this part in Cursed Child?
Not about the proposal, not about them being softies marrying each other again as it had been discussed at length by me in a voice so pitchy that bats flew in. No, I want to talk about Ron “reading” about marriage renewal. Because it begs the question what is Ron reading? Is my man reading Witch Weekly and just having discussions with his sisters in law about feelings, patriarchy and other stuff? Making his brothers hate him because their wives are like “Ron is so soft and understanding why can’t you be more like him?” or is he reading some romantic novels he borrowed from Hermione?
I’m so ready for the wider public to understand that when I say “I’m not that Girl”and “I’m not that Girl Reprise” is Hermione/Ron/Lavender coded I mean it
How do I know Ron and Hermione would be the best parents? My friend they were parenting the moodiest teenager going through hell at the age of 15/16 while dealing with their own hormones and crush on each other.
They are both such a jealous losers, I love them
You don’t get it, it’s not just that Ron and Hermione are absurdly head over heels in love with each other, it’s that Ron and Hermione still have a crush on each other even though they married with children
The beginning of The Forest Again but also the chapter as a whole is in retrospect still terribly sad but also kind of hilarious. Because it’s so poignant, so full of belief Harry has finally been told the truth, he is walking the whole walk preparing himself to accept the death which he is certain coming. Only for Dumbledore to be like “Lol, nope I lied again, I knew since the end of year 4 you won’t have to die”
One of the things I love about Cursed Child is that it shows Romione truly does love their first kiss to be in the near death kind of moment
Kaos on Netflix is a bit as if someone who loved Percy Jackson growing up was told they are too old to like it so they took their love for it and combined it with Succession while listening to Hadestown soundtrack and watching Romeo + Juliet by Baz Luhrmann
And?
And it’s beautiful

I mean no hate but I often hear people use “they have things in common” as a pro Harry and Hermione argument. And once again no hate I’m genuinely asking what do they have in common except for being brought up in muggle world and being absolutely miserable whenever Ron is not with them?
