I’m Één, I’m a self-taught artist, and this is my third try to run a tlog. My long-lasting interests are dark academia, structuralism, and the Scientific Revolution in England. Since 2019 I’ve been mixing them in my novel named ‘Isti Mirant Stella’. Something makes me spare my friends, so I finally decided to single out some space where I can rant about my comfort topics. Imagine ignoring someone so hard that they literally die never receiving your answer?

Leibniz, the patron saint of ghosting, had left Huygens on read for six months (p. 756–757) and eventually texted back but didn’t sent the message after learning about Huygens’s death.

It feels like a lazy excuse for an author to make two characters part ways, but it gets more predictable with the last lines in Huygens’s letter, “by finishing here, I wish you all the best for the new year.”

(We don’t do obvious drama baits after canceling the three unities, but when no one looks it doesn’t count)

I was lucky to see De Rosen’s frescos irl. In person, they are unsettling, and I’ve always wanted to recreate this feeling but failed. I can’t say that this time is a win but maybe it’s the closest to the idea.

It took me 4.5 years to realise that theōros means contemplator (and thankfully my hellenistics department can’t see this confession), and then I was only one step from finding out that Cosmotheoros and Avalokitesvara have at least one thing in common—which is mindblowingly cool naming with similar translations

And I can’t really say that I’m comfortable with the thought

Since I discovered Mercury pen in Procreate I’ve made some sketches sweet enough to be posted idk
