Mod Jaune is an intersex teenager (under 18) and a bodily white system.

We despise ASAB and TMA/TME languge.

intersex tags being used in these ways is so fucking dehumanizing thinking about it. im not much on the tag, but there are such better alternatives... c'mon guys. we arent a tag to be added onto the end of a pride post, we shouldnt be an afterthought either. we exist outside of tumblr and the tags related! we exist outside of characters!

also... before anybeing says that "its not that deep", yeah, it is. intersex people are not appreciated in the community (or society in general) as much as we should be. participating in this behavior as a perisex being is soooo harmful. like i said earlier in the post, we exist outside of these discussions. i understand that many may not realize that one is contributing to this harmful way of thinking, but please for the love of sugar, spice, and everything nice; listen to intersex folk!!! please!!!!

Perisex trans folk, I will not hold your hands while I say this.

You may think you are not hurting anyone by pretending to be intersex to get GAC. But just because you don't personally witness the ways you're hurting people does not mean you aren't causing harm. And you are.

Every time someone gets GAC by pretending to be intersex, systemic intersexism in medicine gets reenforced. You are actively rewarding doctors for performing unnecessary nonconsensual surgeries and "treatments" on intersex people. This encourages them to do it more.

And the fact that those treatments are nonconsensual is not the only way they harm us. CIMI and IGM cause permanent health problems, sterilization, and disfigurement.

As someone who was hit badly by both versions as an intersex kid at the time, the idea that "tme" people who grew up in the 90s and 2000s would never understand what it's like to have their bodies treated with disgust for a joke is alarming to me because thinking back to those years without even thinking all that hard I can recall the "Pat" character from SNL where the joke was that a woman was dressed as an androgynous/masc presenting fat character and that was disgusting, the Daria skit from Robot Chicken, scenes of cis feminine characters in disguise being stripped in public to prove they aren't a man, and almost everything ever said about Chazz Bono before 2015. I remember my older brother having a kid twice his size punch him in the face for being transgender and then the kid not getting in trouble because "he couldn't help that it grossed him out". Kids making exaggerated gagging sounds and screaming and running away from cis girl classmates who got taller faster or had raspier voices or cut their hair into a pixie cut. And they weren't doing it because they thought those girls were trans girls, it was because they found it disgusting that an "AFAB" person would step outside the rigid boxes everyone was supposed to fit into. 4channers calling trans men "pooners" as an expression of disgust that someone with a vagina isn't appealing to their sexual preferences, something that's been happening since the very dawn of lolcow-type sites.

Ace Ventura and Naked Gun and Family Guy offenses against trans feminine people are horrific but to pretend trans masculine people "would never understand" is to admit that you weren't paying attention.

Include us in discussions about sports

Include us in discussions about HRT

Respect our identities and our right to privacy

Stop speaking over us or saying that cimi/IGM doesnt happen and don’t make jokes about giving kids hormones/surgeries

Don’t use us for your bigenital fantasies

Stop appropriating our terms and misusing them

It’s really not that hard. All we want is a seat at the table and some respect.

I need people to realize ASAP that fetishizing trans women and fem(me)s is NOT SUPPORT! If you can never think of anything "kind" or "supportive" to say about us that's not sexual, or that can't be turned sexual in a hot second, I don't like or trust you.

If it always comes back around to sex and looks and the like? 8/10 times, I just have to poke around the barest bit and the fact you don't actually see us as people but only living sex dolls that you lash out at the moment we "ruin your fantasy" by existing as ourselves in a way you don't like. Editing to add, do you know what else is not actually support but fetishization? Telling an intersex person you wish you were intersex, and or that you are an intersex ally because you wish you were, on top of the obvious "god intersex people are so hot you're the perfect human" schtick. That is not support, not being an ally, not positivity. It is dehumanizing and fetishizing, downplaying our struggles.

If your support and advocacy for us, hell for any group really, but especially transfems (perisex and intersex) because we seem to be the main target of this crap always comes back around to what you think we do/can do for you? And or to sex? It is not support, not being an ally, not positivity. It is dehumanizing and fetishizing, downplaying our struggles. But you don't care about our well-being, do you? Y'all know that the sex assignment/reassignment of intersex people is not based on logic, right? Like it's largely based on luck and the opinions of random doctors, for those whose natal sex is more ambiguous.

You can have two intersex people with the EXACT same intersex traits, and one will be assigned female at birth and the other will be assigned male at birth. Sex assignment/reassignment isn't based on which sex you're actually "closer" to, it's based on which sex your DOCTORS think you're "closer" to.

I need to tell someone this. "Fawn" (not his name anymore but people will recognize this name) is back on twitter under a new username. Anyways he's now dating a (presumably white) cishet guy and did a complete 180 on his politics/views on human rights. He's been siding with TRFs, invalidating intersex transfems and spreading misinformation on ASAB. At one point on another (deleted) account fae was pretending to not know what bi lesbians are too. (Maybe hates bi lesbians now too.)

I feel disgusted. I even listened to his side and validated that he was simultaneously a victim and abuser because no one else recognized or cared about the victim aspect. And this is the thanks I get as an intersex transfem who gave faer an ear to listen.

He said he was working on a doc to prove his innocence and that it was the other way around or something. The doc never happened. He ran instead and changed faer name, identity, stopped being transfemmasc, stopped being a lesbian. Abandoned everything he claimed to have stood for. This is not something someone who's innocent does. This is someone who's guilty and running away.

Can't believe I got ran off of tumblr in part cause of sticking my neck out for this guy and believing him. I mean of course I don't anymore, and I really should've known more about the situation over all. It was wild to see the 180 he has done and how he would just as quickly throw me under a bus when I tried to help him out and faced two different harassment campaigns from it.

Just saw someone defend the use of TMA and TME by comparing it to the use of black and non-black. You realise you're kind of exposing the falsehood of your own argument here, right? Nobody calls non-black people "anti-black racism exempt" and I feel it they did, they'd sound pretty stupid. Calling someone TME is always exclusionary. It is not merely an acknowledgement that trans women face a different set of struggles to trans men and other identities - it is a cudgel used to silence discussions of trans mens' issues. When trans men stop being singled out and deliberately harmed on this godforsaken site then maybe you can start using it.
