Things Itachi Would Find Attractive

Someone with an impressive track record. Itachi is a true fan of great ninja figures; he spent much of his childhood reading everything about them. So, someone with a remarkable history or achievements would definitely pique his curiosity.

A confident person. Not necessarily in terms of appearance, but someone who is firm in their actions—clear, decisive, and unwavering in their behavior.

Someone who thinks outside the box. You don’t need to have a genius-level IQ, but if most opinions on a subject are predictable and you suddenly present a fresh perspective, you’d definitely catch his attention.

An elegant individual. While Itachi doesn’t have the strictest fashion sense in Konoha, like any Uchiha, he gravitates toward darker tones. Still, someone with a refined and polished appearance would certainly stand out to him.

A devoted person. Coming from the Uchiha clan, where love is arguably the strongest emotion, Itachi deeply values devotion and loyalty—perhaps even to the extent others might see as excessive. He would cherish the idea of binding his soul to someone else’s, no matter the circumstances.

A brutally honest person. Itachi isn’t good with hypocrisy or white lies. Like many Uchiha, he sees things in black and white. Honesty is something he values highly and finds deeply attractive.

A natural leader. Itachi is used to dealing with half-hearted leaders or those who hesitate to take charge. Someone who steps up confidently to solve problems immediately and decisively would be incredibly attractive to him.

A brave person. Whether ninja or not, Itachi would be drawn to someone courageous. This doesn’t mean someone fearless, but rather someone who faces any situation head-on despite their fear.

An intelligent and/or cultured person. This doesn’t just refer to mathematical or scientific intelligence (although that counts, too). Any form of intelligence—musical, athletic, intuitive, emotional—would captivate him. He’d also appreciate someone who can hold a variety of conversations effortlessly or someone who admits their ignorance on a topic and listens attentively.

Someone true to their principles. While he appreciates flexibility and a willingness to learn, Itachi admires people who stay loyal to themselves. A strong character that defends personal beliefs would win his heart.

An honorable person. Honor can be a tricky concept to define, but within the context of ninja clans, it becomes clearer. Someone who refuses to be bribed, cheat, or act deceitfully would gain his respect and admiration.

Things Itachi Finds Unattractive

A person with poor hygiene. Itachi seems like the kind of person who is extremely neat—almost to the point of obsession. He definitely couldn’t coexist for long with someone who is messy or unhygienic.

Someone who curses excessively. While he’s somewhat used to hearing it from Naruto, Sasuke, and other teammates, he finds it unpleasant. He wouldn’t be interested in someone who has the habit of swearing too much.

A spoiled or bratty person. Of any kind. He definitely wouldn’t find tantrums cute or funny. Instead, he’d find it uncomfortable and awkward.

Someone who speaks without thinking. This doesn’t mean every conversation needs to be a profound philosophical essay, but Itachi might feel uneasy around people who blurt out anything just to fit in or relieve anxiety. Silly or repetitive jokes wouldn’t be his favorites either.

A person who is too loud. Again, he’s somewhat accustomed to this because of Naruto, but only tolerates it for short periods. Someone overly hyperactive or noisy would drain his energy and irritate him.

Someone overly dependent. Itachi is a busy man. While he understands that his partner might miss him, he would find it unappealing if someone needed him by their side every single day without considering his schedule.

People who draw too much attention to themselves with flashy looks or eccentric personalities. He might respect their uniqueness, but such traits wouldn’t fit into his daily life.

Someone overly concerned with public approval. Itachi is used to being in the spotlight, but it’s not something he thinks about constantly. Someone overly focused on pleasing others or chasing public validation wouldn’t suit him.

A procrastinator. Itachi is someone who sticks to strict schedules and rarely leaves things for later (except playing with Sasuke). While he understands the occasional delay, he couldn’t handle someone who constantly puts off starting tasks.

Although he is seen as an emotional person, it will be difficult for him to truly lower his barriers and allow you to do something for him beyond listening to his stories.

He would give up on his monk vows when joining the company, but he wouldn't think about having a romantic relationship, as he believes he intimidates people too much for them to approach him. Additionally, he has trained himself so much in detachment from lust and other feelings that he wouldn't even realize he wants a partner.

He belongs to Zen Buddhism or Mahayana Buddhism, both of which frequently practice meditation, but Mahayana Buddhism's philosophy focuses on guiding others toward an enlightened path.

He would confuse the feeling of being in love with the feeling of just loving human acts. He would spend a lot of time unable to tell if he cares for someone because they seem like a really nice person or because he has a more personal interest.

Although he is a very kind person, he is quite used to being alone, so if someone constantly wants to be with him, he wouldn't know exactly how to act.

He is used to having younger people around him, rarely interacting with older people. He feels more comfortable knowing he is responsible for others.

He goes along with other people's plans and rarely suggests doing something he enjoys, as he thinks others might find him boring.

He knows many admire him, and that sometimes makes him nervous, causing him to question whether he's acting appropriately. He has several thoughts rooted in his past as a monk, but he would try to adapt them if he sees that the people around him don't fully understand him.

Although he cries a lot and over "anything," he would remain stoic in truly difficult moments because he knows others rely on him.

He definitely wouldn't know how to react if someone suddenly asks him to talk about his religion. He is not used to people asking him about it; rather, they tend to ignore it, and he would have a hard time trying to explain himself.
