Who is that??
Me. More specifically, I'm Ithemyso (pronounced however you want), and I go by any pronouns except she/her. I will probably use this blog as a place to talk about anything and everything, seeing as my interests are ever-shifting and evolving. I will probably update this post as I figure out what exactly I'm going to do with this account.

SFAWTDE/DAWTDE Headcanons (no KIY this time, sorry)
Avery:
Taller than Derek IRL (Derek is displeased by this)
Loves video games in general, but got into Minecraft relatively recently
About 22, senior in college. Majoring in Biology, maybe with a minor in Botany
Wears Hawaiian shirts. Always. Would probably get married in one
Chugs diet soda like his life depends on it
Up to date on pop culture. Probably drops meme references into unrelated conversations.

Also wears sandles and socks. Honestly, his MC skin is probably what he dresses like IRL
Not white. Half black, half Latino.
Long-ish hair. You can bet your life savings that it's dyed.
Shockingly smart, he just doesn't do well with puzzles.
Derek:
Barely older, around 23 (I HC his birthday as March 3rd, 2003 because of his goodbye letter channel name, but I digress)
College dropout, has a small apartment he pays for with the trust fund his parents set up for him
When he was in college, he majored in Robotics. Probably still dabbles in it for fun from time to time.
Has been playing Minecraft since it came out (has a lot of "I remember when" moments when playing)
Redstone expert
Doesn't like diet soda, so he drinks coffee (which he mixes with Monster energy drinks, much to the horror of all who know him)
Hoodies, sweatpants, and crocs (neither of them have a fashion sense)

INCREDIBLY lonely people. Avery grew up in a large household, while Derek's parents were always too busy for him. Both turned to the internet to cope.
If there's a platonic version of "love at first sight", it's these two
Not strictly romantic, not strictly platonic, but a secret third thing (predestined soulmates that find each other in every universe)
They would move in together, trust
Derek would never play Minecraft again himself, but would watch Avery play
They'd keep the laptop. It'd never get used, but they'd keep it
They'd sleep in the same bed ("to save on heating", they claim (they do this even in summer(they have another fully furnished bedroom that gets used as a guest room. They hardly ever have guests)))
Somewhere down the line, they'd get legally married (for tax benefits. This one is true)
They'd end up adopting cats. Avery's children, Derek's biggest nuisances (/j (the cats, naturally, prefer Derek))
Avery would be the main breadwinner, and Derek would eventually go back to college.
Further down the line, they would move somewhere else where there aren't so many unhappy memories. Get a house. Grow old there.
They'd be happy together, like that.
Feel like I should talk about my upcoming SFAWTDE/DAWTDE AU fic more, as it will be consuming my mind, body, and soul for the next week or several anyways:
This whole thing hinges upon a theory of mine that Avery and Derek are actually pretty close to each other (as in, they live in the same town/city), and could therefore absolutely get to one another if needed. It also hinges upon the fact that Derek posted his goodbye letter only a few days before Wifies uploaded DAWTDE. I won't say much more than that, as I'd like the plot to be a surprise.
There'll be a short prologue immediately after the events of DAWTDE, followed by a time cut to several months later which is when the REAL fun begins. I expect the whole thing to be between 25k and 50k words, given that I don't know exactly how much filler I want to add. There'll also probably be an extra one shot or two, which I'll try to write as a standalone thing from the main story and able to be read on their own. The story will be posted here, but I would also like to try posting it on AO3 if/when I make an account.
That's all I can say without getting into too many details, so have some disjointed ramblings from my notes doc where I planned out a bit of the story (mostly spoiler-free, but you never know):
Hello Tumblr.com, I have returned from my 9 or 10 month hiatus at this fine hour of well past midnight to pose a question:
If I wrote a post-canon fix-it ish AU of SFAWTDE/DAWTDE, would you read it. I'll honestly end up writing it anyways, but I just wanted to gauge interest.
Something I've never told anyone before is that I read and interpret all of Joey Drew's actions in the games and books as a direct result of his unrequited love for Henry Stein.
Reblogging because it's in the same train of thought; Sillyvision/Joey Drew Studios, in my heart of hearts, had INSANE workplace drama, most of it centered around relationships between workers.
Imagine starting a job as an animator there, and during your first week you learn that:
Susie and Sammy regularly flirt in the hall, but it seems to be mostly Susie flirting *at* Sammy while the conductor stares off at a certain Mr. Polk.
Henry and Joey always eat lunch together. Always. Once, Henry went out on his lunch break with Linda, and Joey was so upset and angry he bit through a 20-page script for an upcoming cartoon.
Bendy's voice actor, who no one really knows the name of because he never talks to anyone, can be seen bouncing between the secluded recording booth where Boris' voice actor works (whose name is also unknown, for the exact same reason) and the office of Mr. Drew himself. He is never seen anywhere else by most of the lower pay grade employees.
There's a couple of teens, Dot and Buddy, who sneak around a lot. No one knows what they're doing, but most shrug it off as young love. Even if they keep being found in increasingly weird places...
Bertum exists. Everyone says he and Drew are divorced. They might actually be right on that front.
Yeah. Uh, JDS was insane, and the professional environment was probably as toxic as the ink itself. Also everyone was gay for some reason.
Listen, I have never read a Wolverine comic or seen a Wolverine movie in my life (aside from dp&w), but I have a theory on how trans! Logan could both work AND technically not contradict any canon I know of. (Note: I will be pulling material from the Deadpool comics. Bear with me here.)
So we know that Logan heals himself after injury. It's his whole shtick. Literally what makes him, him. But he always heals the same. Doesn't age, or scar, or become physically altered in any way by what he's been through, no matter how bad. But to do that, his brain would probably need a reference for what his body should look like. Like a blueprint.
We also know, thanks to Deadpool (who got his healing factor from Logan, after all) being shown as capable of healing his face if he really wants to, that there's probably an emotional factor to it as well. That if Logan is happy with something, it'll probably be more likely to stick.
So my theory is this: Logan was born afab, but sometime before his mutant ability kicked in he realized he was trans. This probably meant he experienced puberty moreso as a boy, as his body would have produced testosterone because he simply wanted it to. Then, the very first time he was completely decimated (like, blown up or something), he regenrated with amab physiology. Because he saw himself as male, his body healed to match that image.
So yeah, that's what I've got on it. If anyone knows any comic lore that either supports or refutes my theory, let me know!

And yea, he def is!! Our first Moon Knight comic was the Lemire run, in which the 3rd alter is being addressed as new and not yet fully formed, a baby being Marc himself doesn't yet know where to place. So we sorta assumed from there that this new addition is going to eventually function like Jake and Steven?
Altho it is kinda cool to see Mr Knight and Marc still bleed through one another, like you can really tell Mr Knight is new and still becoming.
That said, we haven't read every Moon Knight yet, def not the Fist of Khonshu, so a lot of hcs here might be contradictory or something already established.
I DO adore how insistent Mr Knight is about his role as a priest, it seems like it's 1 faucet of his personality that he knows for sure to be his and he fully embraces it.
Other than that, he has a personal tailor somewhere downtown, one that is sorta hidden away, looks like an old ruined barber shop, long abandonded, but once you go in, you get treated to the best custom made suits in town.
I do also think he's not yet sure if he's allowed to be his own person. When he emerged, Marc was already at his own misguided war with Jake and Steven, blaming them for his own shortcomings, and their rocky relationship at that point might've given him the idea that individuality or life in general is not something he can ever have. So he keeps to Midnight Mission.
He also seems to hold more rage against those who ever acted poorly about Marc's mental illnesses, he addresses name calling and vaguely references the early misdiagnosis of DID as schizofrenia as grounds for future hate speech against Moon Knight.
Okay so I'm a little late to this. Just a little. BUT time is fake and I'm finally sitting down to reply to this! I'll try to keep what I say spoiler free (and mostly headcanon), but if you want more don't be afraid to ask!
Mr. Knight is, in my opinion, the closest to Khonshu. Since he fully leans into/embraces the role of priest, he probably gets a lot of favor and most of his prayers answered (the others like to take advantage of this to get Mr. Knight to ask Khonshu for stuff (think of it like older siblings asking younger ones to ask the parents for fast food because they know the younger ones have a better chance)).
On the subject of suits, I THINK I know where Mr. Knight got his. There was a comic called Leo's Tailoring (which I think was a Spider-Man comic, perhaps), which talks about where superheroes and supervillains get their costumes. Dunno if you've heard of it or were even referencing it in the post, but there's a great motion comic dub of it on YT if you wanna check it out.
I could honestly yap all day about him, but I don't know what else to say that'd make for a good paragraph, so have some of my headcanons:
Closest to the Midnight Mission (building)- strokes the walls absentmindedly as if petting a giant cat.
Loves old records. Hangs around record stores when he has nothing else to do.
Very community oriented. Aside from Jake, he's the one that connects the best with ordinary, everyday people. If he had the time, he'd probably do volunteer work.
Monotone voice. Speaks in a flat, noir-detective style. Never yells, but can raise his voice in volume to where it feels like he is. Odd accent- no one knows what it is or where it came from.
If he isn't able to wear his mask for any reason, he slicks his hair straight back with liberal amounts of hair gel.
Scarily good at pretending to be one of the other alters. Managed to convince everyone he was Marc for a week straight before anyone noticed.
Regularly threatens to put 8-ball back in the car shredder. Would never actually do it, but no one else knows that.
Doesn't actually know Marlene that well. Thinks she's fine, but can't bring himself to care beyond that.
Loves cats. Probably has one named Missile Launcher or something else equally stupid. I also headcanon Dr. Badr to have a hairless cat, who Mr. Knight adores.
Eventually realizes he needs a first name and picks Arthur. Won't tell anyone why (all of the other names he wanted shared an initial with someone else in the system).
And that's all I can think of. Hope you're doing well!
Just started reading Sherlock Holmes and all the adaptations are wrong. This man is a delight. He gets excited about hemoglobin and is ecstatic at the thought of Watson as a roommate. He purposefully forgets how the solar system works so he has more room in his brain for crime. He shows Watson the dirt stains on his trousers and he can tell what part of London they come from based on color and consistency. (As far as i can tell Watson didn't ask, Sherlock just gets back from walks and tells Watson about the stains unprompted.) The text specifically says "Holmes was certainly not a difficult man to live with." Why does every adaptation make him unpleasant and rude, he's literally just eccentric. He's such a goober, I love him.
He also writes, apparently. He (at least once) references an article (or was it book?) he wrote about 200 different types of cigar ash. I feel like he's juuust socially aware enough to not infodump on most people he's just met, so he instead writes down everything he knows about an obscure topic and flings it into the wild. What comes next certainly isn't his problem.
