Kodansha has announced at Anime Expo 2025 that they have acquired the licenses of Shugo Chara! and Shugo Chara! Jewel Joker to celebrate the manga's 20th anniversary. The new editions of Shugo Chara! were released in Japan in 2021 to celebrate Peach-Pit's 20th anniversary and Shugo Chara!'s 15th Anniversary. Both manga will be released in North America in stores and online Spring 2026.
