ravonna, say there's a circle with labeled points starting with point 0, then point 1, then point 2, all the way to point 126. if you start at point 0 and jump 5 points each time (landing on point 5 to point 10 to point 15 so on so forth), how many times do you have to jump to land in point 1?

part 1: hypothesis
so my logic might be wrong but the last number you'll hit in your first round will be 125 because you're going up by five each time, right? so then you skip over 126 and start round two by landing on 4. your next hop will be on the 4s and 9s of each 10 so the last number you hit on your second round will be 124, when you hop from there the first number on your third round will be 3. this is enough evidence for me to conclude that it will take 5 rounds for you to land on point 1
now we just need to multiply that by the number of hops per round which I think is 25 cause 125 divided by 5 is 25, idk if that logic is sound but that's what I'm going with for now.
#of hops per round • #of rounds = total number of hops
25 • 5 = 125
therefore I think it'll be 125 hops for you to land on the first point.
I might do an experiment later to see if I was right cause it's a 50/50 chance
