considering they've been friends for years and live together and are generally in each other's pockets all the damn time, it's not out of the realm of possibility for qifrey to have gotten caught in the middle of olly's work. i'm of the opinion that as a creator and inventor who favours fire, olly has his fair sure of burns (shirahama draw olly with burn scars when), and someone who's constantly All Up In His Business (qifrey) would surely get caught in the crosshairs at some point.

all this to say: how much do you think olly hated himself when he first accidentally burned qifrey with one of his spells?
