Pocket of Summer blog up!

[Pocket of Summer] is a Digimon/science fantasy OC story, and my first original story that I’m..actually trying to make into a thing! 🥳 I’ve created a separate blog for it, which is where I will be updating the story:

(i was very stuck on how to format it at first, but the layout/format takes inspiration from @digimon-fr! thank you..!!)

While it borrows concepts from Digimon, it’s still intended to be understandable without Digimon knowledge, and the main characters and Digimon are all original characters so it’s really just an OC story, haha.

If you’ve listened to the Digimon 02 drama CD ‘The Door into Summer’, this story is inspired by it (but not canonically connected, Pocket of Summer is a standalone story); without spoiling, there’s a character in the drama called Nat-chan whose story is…sad, and I had originally wanted to create some kind of story where she was happy but somewhere along the way the story became its own thing 😆

I’ve had too many OC stories floating around in my mind, but after…maybe calling it ‘near-death experience’ is an exaggeration?? but anyway I just felt the urge that I have to actually start penning them down! No matter how good or bad they turn out. Pocket of Summer is maybe my least ambitious OC story, plus my recent 13 Sentinels obsession also made me want to revisit it (somehow there are a few similarities lol), so I want to tackle this first.

I am…absolutely not a good writer 😂 so I try to make it up with drawings, but more than anything I just want to get these characters’ story out of my brain and into the world. 💕
