Buildings Made of Sky

Photographer Peter Wegner captures another city in the urban canyons between the buildings. It’s invisible, the city no one built. In this city, the buildings are made not of brick or steel, but of sky. Peter Wegner is an American artist and graduate of Yale University. His practice explores questions of color, language, and architecture.

Spectroplexus is a 100-foot-long public sculpture commissioned by St. Louis Lambert International Airport. The installation was designed by the Sam Fox School's 2017 digital fabrication studio, and will hang above terminal 2 of the airport for approximately 2 years.
