I remember watching this movie as a child like really little. It was about this girl and her cat and I'm pretty sure the name started with a P.
Basically the earth was dying or something and her parents/maybe just her mom were scientists or something similar and they found a mystery cure to something. But then they were like being hoisted into an air ship and her mother takes this girls snow globe and injects it with a syringe of the Mystery Cure (I still don't know how this works)
And then the girl goes off with her grandpa but they get sperated so it's just her and her cat for some time. Only she meets this boy and he takes her far away out of the city to this woodsy ar mmea and it's really special because this is the deforestation pro max timeline.
And then there's this scene I remember of her grandfather sitting with a gass mask (air is polluted) in this building that's built around basically the last tree in the city and he's like contemplating or sum
Also later they reunite and then she goes to his house and she's drenched and he's like no worries I have clothes in that closet and she opens the closet and it's like a row of dresses increasing in size from the point where he lost her up to one that fits her grown self.
Also if it helps it was animated and also the CD cover had the girl running on the roof of buildings(?) or at least in a city scape.
I have NO CLUE what this could be it's been years and I loved it when I saw it.
