Sherlock filming in Canada

Keep clueing for looks to find out WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON!

So I just remembered that Sherlock team was filming in Canada for several weeks in April – May. Some of crew members, including the location manager (Tom Guy) and the director of TST (Rachel Talalay), were tweeting about it.

Maybe another tweets/posts/pictures on this theme exist but that’s what I’ve found so far:

They were in Toronto, huh?

Two days later Tom tweeted that he had a great trip to the Niagara Falls.

Were they filming over there? Who knows? The following tweet about any possible shooting for Sherlock didn’t get a reply.

And finally — Rachel’s tweet with picture of our familiar clapperboard. 7th May, Vancouver. Nice!

Now what we have. There was nothing connected to the filming in Canada, right? Then the game is not over.

One more missing scene? I wouldn’t be surprised.

They didn’t have to tell us that John wasn’t happy in his marriage.They were killing Mary off anyway, so technically they didn’t have to include the storyline of John nearly cheating because his marriage wasn’t enough. They didn’t have to make him nearly cheat with Sherlock’s sister of all people.They could have killed Mary off and left us all with the belief that John just lost the love of his life.They didn’t have to have John confessing to Mary that he wanted more and still does.

They didn’t have to include all of that but they did….

So why did they do all of that?

when will writers understand that if they don’t want people to see their characters as gay/bi they should simply not write homoerotic subtext or use romantic tropes as a joke for that particular gay ship in the show??????? making the character say “im not gay” and then expecting the audience to be like “well he just said he’s not gay that does it gotta invalidate every evidence saying otherwise brb” is downright stupid,,?

Despite the many different theories on methodology, I am just pleased that the majority of the fandom is now finally on board with believing none of Series 4 was real. Small victories.

I’m still seeing tons of crazy theories and it just pains me to read them and their posts. No hate towards them at all, I am just truly sadddned by it. For myself, for them, for the fandom that was so let down. At what point will they give it up and accept it’s not happening? I don’t even come on here much anymore because it’s all just awfully sad.

This wasn’t meant to be a shit post. All those crazy theories? Hell yes, bring them on! When I say Series 4 wasn’t real, i literally mean Series 4 wasn’t real. It was in Sherlock’s mind (some people believe it was in John’s) and none of what we saw was real. To me, and many others like me, this makes complete sense within the narrative of the show. Many people think Mofftiss has jumped the shark (sharks!), but that’s just because they don’t understand what any of it means. Not shaming you or anyone else, but that is really whats happening. Just because you don’t understand something though, doesn’t make it wrong or bad.

LOL I read your original post wrong. In my mind it read as "Episode 4 not being real" for some reason. I'm specifically talking about a secret 4th episode. This was just a misunderstanding... changes the context of my response entirely. I totally agree with you. You're preaching to the choir here. I do believe that Series 4 was fake. I've been tinhatting it and onboard with all these theories but NOT the ones about a secret episode anymore. I'm saying that I'm sad because people don't want to wait until a season 5 and they're going to be let down thinking another episode is coming soon. I'm not saying I don't understand, nor am I saying anything is wrong or bad. Just saddened were going to have to wait a while.

the deep web is extremely dangerous - it contains everything from hit men for hire to child pornography to horrific human and animal abuse, often disguised as links to innocent pages, and is used by a lot of people with excellent hacking and doxxing skills and very troubling morals

in fact, even if you disregard points 1 - 3, there is absolutely no way that the bbc or any of its affiliates would ever encourage young people, especially children under 18, to go to such a dangerous part of the internet - that would be asking for a lawsuit which the bbc would never risk or be able to afford (they’re tax funded, after all)

i am telling you right now that there is no chance whatsoever that any coded messages encouraging you to go to the deep web are in any way related to the bbc - i promise you that this is the work of an anti who doesn’t like this community and may actually mean you actual harm

if there is an arg (which honestly i find hard to believe at this stage, but this point stands regardless), i promise you this isn’t part of it
