I am grateful and blessed for such a wonderful day.
This journey of self-discovery is a precious gift, and I hold it close to my heart.
Embracing Change: My Journey Through 2024
2024 will stay in my memories for a long time. I wish I could change so much about last year. To say it was tough or rough would be a massive understatement. My life has drastically changed from what it was to what it is today. Do I regret making those changes? Not really! But do I miss my friends? Terribly! Overnight, I went from having a few great friends whom I can meet every day. I shared myâŠ
The Girl in the Dark: A book review
The Girl in the Dark: A totally gripping crime thriller with edge-of-your-seat suspense (Blake and Byron Thrillers Book 2) by ZoĂ« Sharp Summary of the book (taken from Goodreads) The woman falls. Her body begins to shake. Her brown eyes turn upwards, showing a mix of panic and desperate hope. She takes a deep breath and says one word: âBlake.â Then her eyes close, her face pales, and she goesâŠ

Walking Away......
I want to run away to some far off land. The land of unknown seems more alluring than living amongst the known.
I want to run away to some far-off land. The land of the unknown is more alluring than living amongst the known. Life is a constant battle; they say you win some, you lose some. But the more I lost, the more clarity I got. I can now see what is unacceptable and what I should walk away from! I have complained so much in my mind, if today you ask me, whatâs wrong?, I will say, âNothing!âŠ

To enjoy life as much as I enjoy studying
Life will go through its cycle quite like the seasons, and with every failure and success you will learn something new. Focus on the learning, grieve over the failure, and then pick yourself up to move on. Life will be hard, but be kind to yourself.
In my teenage life, my focus was all studies (not because I was asked to, but I Had to make something of my life). Unlike teenagers of my age, I was never a rebel child. I was the obedient kid most parents would dream of! But today, I can tell my younger self, that things fall in place eventually. Sometimes, in a more roundabout way than you would like, but they do! So, enjoy the moments youâŠ

Books that made me Cry
The chances of me crying while a reading a thriller or a suspense book (which is my go to genre), is really low. But, once in a while I do meander away from my regular genres.
Yes, I am one of those people who cry watching an emotional movie or a book. The chances of me crying while a reading a thriller or a suspense book (which is my go to genre), is really low. But, once in a while I do meander away from my regular genres. Over the years, I have read a few books that brought tears to my eyes, it was either pain or the joy that brought those tears. So, letâsâŠ

If only I could break away from the cycle of monotony
Daily writing promptDo you need a break? From what?View all responses I think we often fall prey to cycle of monotony and mistake it for living a life. I dont have to make my life exciting every single, but a few days a week, and I can rejuvenated. But I think I have the super power of making stuff monotonous. Though, let me tell you I donât get bored, but I quickly move away from things thatâŠ

What do you complain about the most?.... Insensitivity or lack of empathy
If we are kind today, I am sure that kindness will come to you in future when you might need it.
Sometimes, it just blows my mind away, that how much we are insensitive towards people. With time, I realized each one of us are struggling with something in life, and some people more than others. We all need kindness in our heart, but somehow we skip it most of the time. I am talking about empathy in our regular lives, and for the people around us. If we are kind today, I am sure that kindnessâŠ

Everyone on this train is a suspect: A book review
Benjamin Stevenson's latest book is better than the previous, which was already a 5 star read. Witty, clever and flawed, thats how I would describe Ernest Cunningham. ##EveryoneOnThisTrainIsASuspect #NetGalley

Whatâs the thing youâre most scared to do? What would it take to get you to do it?... scared of taking that step
I am scared of taking that one step to cross over the imaginary threshold. Sometimes, I am in a mind to cross it, and hopefully it will make me feeler lighter. But, then a lot of other worries takes up the headspace, and I retract.

favorite family traditions
Write about a few of your favorite family traditions. I left home when I was 17, and my sister was a couple of years older. After that every time, we visited our parents, and set out some traditions. One of them is my favourite; every time we four of us of together (later of 5 of us), would go for a movie, and either a lunch or dinner before or after the movie. I know it doesnât sound anythingâŠ

Reading
âThe more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places youâll go.â âDr. Seuss
The world around me could be in chaos, I would still be reading. It has been an activity for me, itâs an anchor that keeps me grounded, and calm. I cannot go to sleep without reading at least for 30 mins (and, I keep stealing moments throughout the day to read). âThe more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places youâll go.â Dr. Seuss It is so true,âŠ
