The Hike Begins
📍 Brgy. Hall ┊ 🛺 ┊ 📍 Tinipak River
White Rock Formation
Tinipak Camp Site Brace yourself for a 30-minute walk to Daraitan Camp site. The weather was just Perfect for a Dayhike.
Tinipak River
We trekked along the Tinipak river. We are so amazed when we saw this beautiful marble filled place with crystal clear waters.
Man-made Wooden Bridge
We Crossed the river via man-made wooden Bridge. As we walked along, the sights get more and more Beautiful, getting us a little more excited for the final Destination.
Going up to Mt. Mamara is undoubtedly challenging and slippery. Somehow, There are some handrails that are provided along the trails for easy hiking. We have to stop every now and then because it was really exhausting and we have to drink water to avoid dehydration. We thought that one of our friends will collapse any minute (due to lack of sleep). It is important to drink water especially on a scorching hot summer period.
Finally...
It was a good hike that took two hours with countless breaks. We reached the summit by 9:30am. Not bad for a Beginner. The view from the top is well worth the climb! Standing in that peak is incredibly nerve wracking (tryin' my best to look good for the photo). It is beyond Gorgeous!
It's difficult to find a perfect angle to capture the unique heart shaped river because there were too many hikers. The view is fantastically beautiful. That feeling when you've reached the top of the mountain with your buddies by your side, at that moment it's as if you guys can really take over the world and are ready for another exciting adventure.
The way down is equally challenging but it’s easier than expected.
We headed back to Tinipak river just in time to enjoy our free time to swim for some nice dip. It was a perfect reward after a tiring but definitely a worth it trek. The environment was relaxing and you can feel immersing to nature.
Such an awesome trip. Thank You Lord, for the beauty of your creation. I’ve gained a pocketful of experience that I will treasure for a lifetime. My first hike and definitely not My last.
