Just a quick reminder to anyone who might need it - warm up sketches are a thing!! and you should use them!!

i took me so long to get it, because i just wanted to sit down and make an amazing drawing on the first try. Yeah sure, sometimes that works, but more often than not i'd end up disapointed by the first drawing and either have a bad feeling for the rest of the drawing session or straight up close the sketchbook.

lets look at these drawings i made of my babe catra for example

the first drawing was crap. the fourth drawing i was really happy with.

by making a few drawings before doing the drawing you "want to make" youll take off some of the pressure that it has to be good, and just get your brain and hands in the drawing mode. try it out, especially if youre easily self concious about your art <3
