Hi!! Your writing style is so cute!! Can I request a Law x gn!reader where they're just being domestic and cuddling 🥺 Ty!!
ugh love a little domesticity. this fix is short and sweet, wrote it before bedtime. hope u like it!
(also everyone peep the username change)
life with Law is patient, quiet. Morning coffee accompanied by anything but bread, slow afternoons and nightfall filled with stolen whispers.
It’s not often you argue simply because he doesn’t entertain the thought. You can be crossed with him all you want, but the man will hardly reciprocate.
You lay in bed, limbs tangled to the point neither of you can tell where one begins and the other ends. You like it that way, a closeness only you can confide in.
Law feels the same.
“It’s freezing,” You whisper, scooting closer into his body as if you could spontaneously absorb his warmth, become one where two mingled together. “Can’t we turn up the heat?”
Law huffed. “The heater isn’t working, we’ll have to fix it another time.”
“What?” You asked, stunned. This was the first you’d heard of the issue. As a resident engineer it was only befitting to check on the issue. You sat up in bed, but Law had been one step ahead of you. His palm pressed against your forehead, guiding you back to the space against him you’d previously occupied.
“It’s a tomorrow issue.”
You quirked a brow. “Since when do you hold things off until later?”
“Since right now.”
You shifted to face him, the man laid out on his back, rubbing circles into any skin he could find beneath your layers of pajamas and fluffy blankets.
“If I’m freezing, the rest of the crew has to be in distress too. I need to check on this.”
“Bepo is built for these conditions.”
“Not just Bepo. Shachi, Penguin, Ikka—“
“Consider it a surprise training method, then. They should be prepared for any environment.”
You attempted to worm your way out of his hold but his grip was completely unrelenting. After many minutes of struggling you finally gave in, cuddling into his side as your eyelids grew heavy.
“It’s time to rest.” Law breathed out in relief. You hummed in response, nails dragging lightly against his slightly exposed chest, tracing the intricacies of his tattoo.
The two of you fell asleep in each other’s embrace, bodies warm and soft beneath layers of pillows and blankets combined. You’d remain there late into the morning, comfort keeping you in bed far longer than Law would typically allow.
He was always willing to bend a few rules for you, even if it meant breaking his own.
—
somewhere on the Polar Tang:
“It’s freeeeeeeeezing!” Shachi whined, the trio of him, Penguin and Bepo tip-toeing into the boiler room.
They approached the heater, Penguin’s hands reaching out to grasp the handle and turn the knob for some much needed relief.
Bepo halted him in his tracks, clawed finger pointing towards a note written in chicken scratch.
“Bepo, translate.” Shachi commanded.
The polar bear huffed but complied nonetheless.
“If you turn the heater on you’ll be scraping barnacles off the bottom of the sub for a month…” Bepo read aloud, voice exasperated.
hey😛saw u wanted requests and thought this was my time to shine!!!! I really like archery so maybe law x archer!reader or something similar? (Im ok with any character tho im not picky🥹) but other than that lwk go wild…be free…
I ended up going the haha funny route with this, so I hope you like it!!!!
(my archery knowledge is brought to you by my favorite princess)
“A-Are you sure this is safe?” Shachi trembled, an apple resting neatly on top of his head. You instructed him to press his back against a tree, Penguin filming on a video snail while Bepo and Law went into the town nearby to resupply.
You guys aren’t allowed on runs unsupervised, not anymore, not after… the incident.
“It’s probably safe.” You reply, aiming your arrow, bow strong as its string presses into your skin.
“Can I get like… a countdown?” Shachi nearly begs.
“Sure, Shach.” You muse. “Five, four, three—“
You release the string, arrow soaring through the air and stabbing into the center of the apple. Shachi yelps, falling onto the floor and whispering prayers to any god that will heed his call.
You turn to Penguin, a bright smile on your face, sweat glistening off your skin as the summer sun falls down upon you. “Did ya get that?”
“Wait, if the snail’s eyes are closed does that mean it wasn’t recording?”
You sigh. “Why do I even bother?”
There’s a deep clear of someone’s throat to your left. You turn, Law standing there with a bag in his hand, Bepo behind him with an entire haul scooped in his arms.
“Will I ever learn not to leave you unsupervised?” Law sighed.
You laugh, walking over to him with a bright smile. “I shot an arrow at Shachi’s head!” You beamed.
Law smirks, looking down at you with a hint of amusement. “It’s a shame you missed.”
“Hey!” Shachi huffed.
“Pen was supposed to record but he’s hopeless when it comes to snails.”
“Then maybe he should be your next pedestal, huh? We’ll show him how a recording works.”
You rushed to retrieve your bow and arrow, pulling the weapon free of the bark and fruit.
Shachi got Penguin into position, a new apple placed on his head, wobbling at the top of his hat. The previous test subject snickered, patting Penguin’s shoulder as he ducked and skittered away.
“Ready when you are.” Law spoke, aiming the snail at Penguin’s trembling figure.
“Captain, are you sure this is safe?” Bepo whispered at his side.
“What’s the harm in a little experiment? I have full faith the arrow will find its mark.”
“…That makes one of us.”
You exhaled a deep breath, eyes closed as you centered yourself. Upon opening them you set your sights on your target, aiming diligently.
“C-Could I get a countdown too…?”
You smirked, a puff of air akin to a laugh escaping past your lips. “What’s the fun in that?”
Soaring through the air the arrow met its mark once more, tearing away at some of Penguin’s hat in the process.
The video snail captured his reaction to his torn signature cap, steam practically bellowing from his ears. You offer to sew it, make it good as new, and maybe take over some of his chores as a means for compensation.
And the video snail also captured Law’s quiet laugh, like a cool breeze on a scorching summer day such as this one. Then, as if it were possible, even quieter Law’s voice could be heard from behind the recording.
“Told you it would hit,” Law spoke to who you assumed to be Bepo. “I never had any doubts, not for a moment.”
There was silence for a moment, then Law’s voice cut in a final time.
“Not ever.”
i need Law requests… Ace requests… anyone requests… my creativity is dwindling…
Still Tryna Replace Me
based on this post
—
His hands had traced your skin on countless occasions, whispers of praise sinking into your chest and clutching at the strings manipulating your heart.
But it would never be more, not in this lifetime.
“I can’t risk it,” Ace had told you, sitting up from where you both shared a cover to shield yourselves from the brutal winter of a nearby island. “Tomorrow is never guaranteed for someone like me.”
You wanted more and he was content exactly the way things were—at least as far as he was willing to divulge.
So, you bid each other a bitter farewell.
You thought so, that is.
The change was small, unsubstantial. He still lingered in rooms you frequented and searched for you in every crowd. Something more had morphed into a comfortable friendship.
Ace was still struggling to grasp what exactly it meant to be just friends.
“Lookin’ good.” He whistled. “Where ya headed? Mind if I join you?”
You puffed your cheeks, quickly expelling air as you avoided eye contact. You rocked back and forth on the heels of your feet, wishing the ocean would swallow you whole in an effort to avoid this conversation.
“No.” You finally resolved, pursing your lips.
Ace scoffed. “No? What, you going on a date or something?”
You went uncomfortably silent, looking anywhere but him.
Ace’s eyes narrowed, watching the way your breathing stilled and gaze faltered. You were never nervous around him, not ever. You’d seen far too much of each other to ever feel such a thing.
And yet here you were.
You glanced at the sky, the sun slowly beginning its decent, dipping below the treetops.
“I have to go.” You spoke, turning away.
“Let me walk you.” Ace choked, his throat suddenly unbearably dry. He ran his fingers across his skin, thick with sweat and a lingering heat he couldn’t shake.
You denied his request. You never did that, not even in the beginning when you’d first pushed him away. He was always there, always lingering. A touch that lasted too long, a song he hummed while watching the sea sway beneath the ship. You couldn’t shake his presence, the imprint he left upon your burdened heart.
Maybe he knew, or perhaps it was simply that you were the only certainty he’d ever known. This life of rugged beauty was ever changing, not a single moment was the same.
But you remained.
True, honest, sure.
Ace had never known a security the way he knew your heart, knew the way his beat for you in return.
But Ace also knew that his entire life he’d been told he was a mistake, a burden, a curse. His blood was tainted, a bond he would never shake, a weight that would force him to break.
You will always be the waves that drive him forward, the water that lingers upon his lips as he sails through this hellish life.
And he will always be oil, thick and stained and tainted. His misery will scar the surface of all that he touches, making a fool of himself and the legacy he represents.
Oil and water, never together, no matter how hard it’s shaken and stirred. They will always be forced apart, doomed to seclusion.
And as he watched you walk away he just knew he couldn’t step aside and watch with indifference. That wasn’t him, and this certainly wasn’t you. You loved each other. Deeply, truly, passionately.
So Ace followed you, footsteps light as he slipped into flame, a flicker shadowing your every step. He watched you wander into the bar, watched you slide into a seat beside an unfamiliar head of hair.
He sucked in a breath, eyes following every curl of your lips and flicker of your gaze. He watched the man’s fingertips graze your own in passing then rest on top of your palm.
Ace bit his lip, the taste of iron warm on his tongue.
You remained oblivious, indulging in the attention, the break that the evening provided you. You needed this, needed the change of pace in order to retain some semblance of your sanity.
Yet you didn’t feel entirely fulfilled, a piece missing, slotting against each other in refusal.
Ace’s presence was intoxicatingly overwhelming. Every moment you forced yourself away felt like divine punishment.
There was something about him, something you craved. Your hearts called out to each other, and once upon a time you’d been more than willing to answer.
The call of your name pulled you from deep contemplation, Ace standing over you and your date with his arms crossed, chest puffed out in a way only you could recognize—he was dangerously frustrated.
“Do you know him?” You date questioned, already knowing the answer.
“Pops is calling you. Asked me to come get you.” Ace spoke, not even allowing you to answer the man’s question. He took your hand and that familiar sensation had your mind foggy, your whereabouts no longer a concern.
You watched him wordlessly, hands connected as he led you far away from the shitty bar.
“Can’t believe you were with that loser.” He muttered under his breath.
That sobered you up a bit, the thoughts of him plaguing you suddenly falling away as rationally took the reins of your consciousness.
You’d watched him dance with countless women, their names a distant memory as their skin mingled as one. You’d curse under your breath, turning away in a silent disgust.
Marco would be the unfortunate soul to name this feeling, the despondence that rumbled deep within your chest.
Jealousy.
Ugh, just the thought of it made you feel ridiculous, there was nothing for you to be jealous of. The two of you were nothing, would always be nothing.
“I don’t want you going out with him again, alright?” Ace instructed. It made you feel like a child, like your decisions would always be a mistake unless he told you otherwise.
“Why do you get to decide that for me?” You spat back.
Ace defended himself immediately. “I’m just looking out for you.”
“I don’t need a babysitter. I’m grown, you don’t get to boss me around.”
“I do when you make dumbass decisions.” Ace replied, brows furrowed as his gaze raked across your skin.
You tore your hand from his, groaning. “Gosh, you are such a prick.”
“Why? Because I care about you?”
“Yes! First you love me, then you want nothing to do with me, and now you’re sabotaging my dates!”
Ace approached you abruptly, his skin so close you could his breath as he towered over you, leaning ever so slightly so his words were reserved for you and you alone.
“That doesn’t give you the right to throw yourself at some loser.”
“Go to hell.”
“I already am. Every second we aren’t together feels like a hole digging deeper into my chest.”
You scoffed. “Yeah, right.”
“Let me prove it to you.” Ace whispered.
But you shook your head, growing that distance between you as you backed away.
“Go back to the ship. I’m gonna go back to my date.”
“I hope he went home.” Ace confessed without shame.
“I hope he invites me there.” You spat back.
But you knew you didn’t mean a word.
guys im literally so down bad. i saw a Law edit on tiktok and started giggling and smiling. begging someone to take my phone away.
I stumbled across your Law x reader fanfic and its so soft !! /pos Not to mention, gender neutral!! I love, love, love it.
Could I request a Law x gn! reader where the reader would often avoid Law's frequent check ups of the crew because of a bad experience, so Law tries to bribe them with kisses ?? Of course, dont pressure yourself into writing it !!
Have a good day !!
when i write i always do my best to avoid any mention of gender. sometimes i reword a sentence a few times to make sure it remains ambiguous :D i’m glad someone noticed!
anyways as a frequent doctor avoider i feel seen, i hope you like it :3
catching up on my inbox rn but everyone should feel free to shoot me an ask, i love getting requests <3
It started off with small excuses, ways to get him off your back. When that dreaded time rolled around you’d think up everything under the sun to get out of it.
“Oh look, we’re out of bread!” You chirped, bag already slung over your shoulder full of berries and a list of other necessities.
“We don’t have bread.” Law replied. He never kept it on the sub, not ever.
“Exactly why we’re out. See ya later!”
He’d watch you leave, shaking his head as your figure disappeared behind the thick foliage at the island’s edge.
It wouldn’t be the first time, and it certainly wasn’t the last.
“Promised Bepo I’d buy him some coconut oil for his fur.”
“Shachi ate all my snacks. I need to restock.”
“Didn’t that new volume of Sora just release? I’ll go find a bookstore in town!”
“Penguin needs a new zipper, the one on his favorite boiler suit broke off.”
“Im getting rope. Shachi must be punished.”
Time and time again something of the essence always came up. You’d dash off before Law could protest, sometimes gone before he even mentioned checkups.
You found his calendar and kept exceptional track of when they would occur. Disappearing conveniently and only returning when you were sure Law would be preoccupied with anything else.
Then, before you knew it, months had gone by without you having an exam done.
So Law decided the only way to cease this would be to corner you about it, stashing his calendar somewhere he knew you wouldn’t find it and choosing a spontaneous day.
Today.
“Captain is asking for you.” Bepo called into the kitchen. You were brewing a cup of coffee, something for Law to sip on while he worked tirelessly on bringing his plan into fruition.
“I’ll be right there, thanks Bep!” You called back. The Polar Bear’s ears flattened on top of his head, but you didn’t quite take notice of the change.
So, oblivious as you could be, you strolled into Law’s office with a warm cup of coffee in between your hands.
He greeted you warmly, a familiarity that was reserved for you alone.
“I was already on my way when Bepo said you called. What’s up?”
“Could you lock the door?”
You pursed your lips, nodding your head as your mind wandered and considered what this could be about.
Law approached you, taking the cup of coffee delicately from your hand. He pressed a quick kiss to the top of your head, looking down at you as he took a sip.
“I was organizing the crew’s records today,” He started. He didn’t want to throw this onto you right away, easing into it. Law lead you towards his desk, sitting you down in his chair while he took a seat upon the table’s surface. “I couldn’t help but notice you haven’t had a check up in a few months.”
Your eyes widened, cadence of your heart quickening as your gaze wandered the expanse of his room. You needed a way out.
“Guess I’ve been busy.” You jested, releasing a nervous laugh, smile nowhere near greeting your eyes.
“You doing anything right now? I have time.”
“No!” You expelled much louder than you intended. You sucked in a deep breath, calming yourself as to not appear agitated. “No, I just, I don’t have time right now… I should be going actually….”
You moved to rise from the chair but Law placed his palm against the back of it, caging you into him as he searched your frantic gaze.
“You’re nervous.” He observed out loud.
“I’m not.”
“You’re a terrible liar.”
You looked down into your lap, refusing to meet his unyielding gaze.
“Do you know why I check up on the crew every month?”
“Torture method.”
Law hummed in contemplation.
“Maybe seeing Shachi squirm when I bring out a needle is a bit indulgent on my part.”
You gasped, Law realized he misspoke, should’ve kept that himself.
“Only teasing.”
But he could see the way you fidgeted, fingernails eating away at your cuticles.
Law took your hands in his, rubbing the back of them with his thumbs. You soothed under his touch ever so slightly, but he could tell you were still on edge.
“I check up on everyone because I want to make sure they’re healthy and ready for anything. I just want to see the crew at their best.”
You clicked your tongue. “That’s what all doctors say.”
Law sighed. “I won’t pry. Your business belongs to you and I can only hope you’ll share it with me when you’re ready. But in the meantime…” Law pressed a few kisses against the corners of your eyes, the tears that threatened to spill disappearing into his slightly chapped lips. “Won’t you just let me take your blood pressure? Nothing more.”
You still wouldn’t look him in the eyes, remaining silent.
So he kissed you again, then once more. Over and over again he feathered kisses across your skin in a pattern only he could name. He stopped just before your lips, pressing a deep kiss there then down towards your neck.
The sensation caused you to giggle, palms of your hands squishing against his face in order to get him to relent. It worked, a small smile plastered on his face as he finally managed to get you to look him in the eyes.
“Please? Just this once, and if you hate it I’ll owe you a million more kisses.”
“A million and one.” You countered immediately.
A small laugh rumbled deep in his chest. “As many as you want.”
Can I have Ace x Reader x Law stargazing and/or in the snow please :)
YES YES YES YES
this was really fun to write, i hope you like it!!
—
“Lawwww,” You whined. “Hurry I wanna go see the stars already!”
The man shook his head, clicking his tongue as he focused on zipping up your coat. He conjured a scarf from seemingly nowhere, tucking it into your hood and around your neck. The fabric touched tip of your nose, completely shrouding your mouth from view.
You mumbled something from behind the fabric, the sound muffled behind all the layers. With a single finger Law brought the fabric down towards your chin, allowing you reprieve to speak.
“I look ridiculous!” You huffed.
“Don’t care.” Law replied, releasing the scarf and returning you to your prison of fabric. “I’d rather you look a little silly than catch a cold.”
Reaching up, you used your own finger to push the fabric away from your mouth. “I’m telling Ace you’re being mean.”
Law smirked. “Tell him. He isn’t safe from bundling up, either.”
As if on cue Ace strolled into the room adorned in nothing more than a t-shirt and basketball shorts.
“Where’s your clothes?” Law challenged as soon as he crossed the threshold into your shared sleeping quarters. Ace yelped, not expecting such a harsh tone.
“I’m literally wearing a shirt. What more do you want from me?”
Law pinched the bridge of his nose. “Didn’t I buy you a coat last week? We’ve been planning this for days, you knew about the weather.”
“Just cause I knew doesn’t mean I care.”
You watched as Law threw his head back, staring up at the ceiling in frustration. “This is my life.” He sighed under his breath.
“Hey!” You challenged. “Don’t be rude!”
For the first time Ace took notice of your presence, eyes raking over your form, holding in tears as laughter betrayed him.
“I thought you were a pile of laundry!” The man cackled. “How many layers did he force you in!?”
“I have two coats on!” You yelled, flailing your arms to showcase the lack of mobility.
“You’ll thank me when we get to the mountain.” Law sighed. “It’s freezing up there.”
“Aw, c’mon!” Ace attempted. “It won’t be that bad!”
“Yeah!” You chirped in response. “It won’t be that bad!”
Law, looking down at his watch to check the time, knew he didn’t have much left to spend convincing you that bundling up was in your best interest.
“Fine,” Law relented. “But when you’re sick I don’t wanna hear a word.”
You cheered, employing Ace to help you shed your layers, relishing in the feeling of mobility once again.
—
You shivered as you stared up at the stars, Ace’s teeth audibly chattering while seated beside you. The snow beneath your bottom was freezing, and without your coat water seeped into the fabric of your pants, thoroughly soaking your undergarments and skin.
Ace, despite his warm arms wrapped around your shoulders, did little to ease the severity of the cold. You leaned into him, hoping the contact would help, but a gust of wind quickly proved you to be mistaken.
“It’s freeeeezing…” Ace whispered in your ear, words swaying like the open sea.
You nodded your head, clutching your arms tighter against yourself.
“Look,” Law called out to the both of you. “It’s starting.”
As if on cue specks of stars descended in streaks from the sky, falling before your very eyes. The glistening globes twinkled within the depths of your pupils, breath visible as you exhaled in awe. The cold was long forgotten as you simply admired the scene unfolding, a rare sight.
Law pulled the pair of you and Ace into his side, his warmth a guiding light. You remained there for a while, the exact duration remaining uncertain.
Ace had long since fallen asleep in your lap, cuddled up on your thighs as Law rubbed circles into his hip. All the while the quiet man peppered light kisses upon the top of your head, frowning as you shivered beneath his touch.
He finally gave in, a sigh escaping his lips as his warm breath visibly mingled with the cold surrounding you.
Without a word Law draped his coat around your shoulders, his warmth soothing your shivering soul.
“But you’re gonna be cold—“ You started, Law quick to cut you off.
“Unlike you, I know I can handle this weather. Just enjoy the stars, love. They’ll be gone before you know it.”
You didn’t protest, simply relishing in the presence of the two men who would remain with you until the end of time.
You wouldn’t have it any other way.
—
a little bonus lol:
“Don’t say it.” You huffed, arms crossed over your chest as Law checked your temperature. You knew it was a fever, you could feel the heat creeping up the nape of your neck and seeping into your cheeks.
Sure enough, it was just as the both of you suspected.
Law bit his cheek to suppress the smirk that threatened to make its home upon his face. The man remained wordless, turning to Ace as he checked his temperature, too.
“Y’know I run hot.” Ace said to Law with a wink. “You don’t gotta worry about me.”
Law simply hummed, staring at the thermometer.
“Maybe I don’t have to, but you definitely should. You both have colds, pretty bad ones at that.” Then, under his breath. “If only something could’ve prevented it…”
“I don’t appreciate your sarcasm.” You countered, a cough erupting from your chest. Law cringed, slipping his mask over his nose and spraying disinfectant in the air.
“You’re contaminated, and I can’t afford to get sick again.”
Ace turned to face you, a mischievous look on his face that was quickly mirrored by your own.
“Don’t. Even. Think about it.”
You and Ace crept over towards Law, maniacal laughter rumbling in between fits of coughing. He backed away, pressed against the door to the restroom, turning quickly to unlock it.
Then, you struck.
Y/N: Do you have a date for Valentine’s Day?
Law: Yes, it’s February 14.
Y/N: …Nevermind.
Hello!! I really like the way you write Law. I just finished reading the book Oda made of Law’s backstory and I think you understand him really well. Especially love the humor you give him!!
If I may request it, would you be willing to write a reader x Law where the reader knows how to push his buttons? Like shes a strawhat who he finds insufferable at first but sees that shes a badass and starts to respect her more and more. They banter and shes as snide as he is. Until finally he rage quits the flirting out of frustration and is just, “I have feelings for you, you absolute mad woman.” And reader just grins and says “I know I just wanted you to say it first.”
My lanta this is so long… sorry!
this idea is SO CUTE STOP AHHHHH i love your brain (sorry this took forever my writer’s block has been soooooo bad) i wish i could’ve done this idea the justice it deserves!
Law’s initial encounter with you was… interesting, to say the least.
It had been on Sabaody a few years ago. Not many words had been exchanged, but that was typical for Law. A stoic man who kept to himself as much as he was able. He could command a room without so much as a thought, but that simply wasn’t who he was, not in his mind.
And so an effortlessly commanding man such as himself was always bound to take notice of someone who took charge of a room without so much as a thought.
Your interaction had been nonexistent. He watched you from the corner of his eye and smirked when you punched a marine right in the face before departing from the scene.
And that had been all that transpired for years.
He didn’t think much of you until he saw you again on Punk Hazard. Your air of confidence was suffocating and he hung onto your every word as though it were a prayer, drawn to you in a way he’d never been before.
“Listen,” You’d said when he brought up the idea of an alliance, Luffy all too eager to agree. “If you betray us, I’ll make you regret it.”
Law’s lip quirk upward just a bit, so much that you wouldn’t notice unless you were paying complete attention.
“And how would you do that?” He challenged.
You showed him just how easy it would be to kick his ass when Marines cornered you on Dressrosa. You held your own without much effort, tossing punches and throwing kicks left and right. You were fluid, as though channeling liquid through your bones. You ebbed and flowed with an ease that could never be taught.
All the while he observed you, amazed that someone lacking a devil fruit could command such power.
“You just gonna stand there or do you intend on helping out?” You called out to him.
Law leapt into action, conjuring his room and splitting apart a marine that had managed to sneak up behind you—a task Law reasoned would be far from simple.
“Seems like you need all the help you can get.” The man teased. His heart fluttered as you breathed out a laugh, amused.
“Don’t give yourself too much credit now. Wouldn’t want your ego to inflate more than that silly hat.”
Law frowned. “There’s nothing wrong with my hat.”
You hummed. “I’m sure you think so.”
And when Law was badly injured during his fight with Doflamingo, you’d been there alongside Cavendish, ensuring he didn’t kill himself trying to get back into the fight.
“Well,” You spoke once the air had cleared and the three of you remained. “Looks like you’ve seen better days.”
Law chuckled. “I’d like to see you take a turn.”
You shook your head. “And leave you here all on your own? I was only gone a few minutes and you were… disarmed, so to speak.”
“Aren’t you hilarious.”
You smiled. “I know. That’s why you adore me, isn’t it?”
Law’s eyebrows shot into his hairline. “Is that what you think?”
“It’s what I know.”
The true test of patience had been on Zou, the idea to divide and conquer not one you would’ve agreed to willingly.
“You’re with me.” Law announced.
“I’m sure you’d like that,” You teased. “But you’re crazy if you think i’m spending time on that… death trap.”
“You mean the sub?”
“Doesn’t matter which way it swings, I’m not getting on.”
Law breathed out an amused sound. “I wouldn’t let anything happen to you, if that’s what you’re concerned about.”
He immediately regretted the words that left his mouth when you turned to face him, clearly empowered by what he’d just said. “Look who’s protecting who.”
“Last I checked, it was me first.”
“Keeping score?”
“What if I am?”
Your stares challenged each other, daring the other to speak first. There was an air that surrounded you, enveloped you. It was as though a soothing pressure hung just out of reach, begging to be unleashed.
Your eyes raked Law up and down, considering him.
“Then I guess you’ll have to try harder than that to beat me, won’t you?”
Law, sick of the tightness in his chest and the pressure behind his ears, finally gave way.
“You can’t possibly be this oblivious.”
“Huh?”
You watched him pinch the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger, sighing a defeated sound into the air.
“Is this fun for you? Tormenting me with your… your persuasiveness?”
“My… persuasiveness….?”
“You’re joking.”
“I wish I was.”
You watched in real time as what little resolve held him together snapped in two, his shoulders hunched and his fingers twitching in anticipation.
“I’m flirting, we’re flirting, this is flirting!”
“Are we?”
“Yes! I’ve been flirting with you, you absolute lunatic! Can’t you see I… I like you?”
You smiled then, basking in the light of his frustration, absolutely glowing.
“I know. I just wanted to hear you say it.”
i’m gonna get stoned for this but i don’t think Law is a dom in the way i see him written sometimes. that man is a DORK. he is a LOSER. and that is WHY I WANT HIM

brought to you by this ask!
Ace pulled you into his chest, his bare skin warm against your face. You snuggled into him, smiling as he pressed a kiss against the top of your head. You propped your chin against his chest, smiling up at him. Ace took the opportunity to pepper a barrage of kisses against your face, a fest of giggles erupting from the both of you.
“Ugh, get a room.” Law commented from across the room.
You shook your head, smiling over at Law as Ace pouted.
“It’s not my fault you’re mad I’m getting attention and you’re not!” Ace countered, sticking his tongue out at the man.
You slapped Ace’s bare chest lightly, pouting. “Be nice.”
Ace huffed, beckoning Law to join the two of you in a warm embrace. The man rolled his eyes, shutting his book and walking over towards you. You didn’t miss the excitement that fluttered upon his features as he drew closer. He awkwardly sat on the side of the bed, always hesitant to initiate affection. Ace, not wanting to waste another moment, yanked the man by his shoulders and positioned him under his free arm.
You giggled, tracing the tattoos on Law’s hand as it rested against Ace’s chest. Ace, holding the both of you close, divided his affection between the two of you. He pressed warm kisses on the tops of your heads, Law taking your hand and ghosting a kiss on the back of your hand.

You stole Law’s hat, parading around your home with it. Cooking, cleaning, bingeing shows. The article was comfortable, long forgotten as you went about your day as typical.
Ace pouted in the corner, arms crossed over his chest as he stared.
You felt his gaze across the room, could hear him pouting without even having to look.
“What’s the matter, hun?” You asked, pausing your show and turning towards where he stood sulking in the corner.
“Nothing.” He huffed, turning away.
You sighed, slipping off your seat and approaching him. Affection was Ace’s favored form of love, and it didn’t go unnoticed as he instantly leaned towards you.
You rested your head against his bicep, looking up at him from beneath the brim of Law’s hat.
“C’monnn…” You coaxed. “I can’t fix it if you don’t tell meeee…”
Ace, wordless, slipped Law’s hat off your head and swapped it with his own. Then, he placed Law’s hat upon his own head. You giggled, feathering his freckles with light kisses.
“If you were feeling a little neglected you could’ve just said that, silly.”
“Not neglected,” Ace corrected. “Just… wanted a turn.”
· · ─ ·✶· ─ · ·
Law clicked his tongue as he wrapped up an injury you’d sustained out on what should’ve been a quick supply run.
“You’re reckless. You should’ve come right back at the first sign of danger. Wait until Ace gets here.”
You gasped. “Don’t you dare.”
Law stared into your eyes, searching your expression. His gaze flickered back to the blood steadily seeping through the once pristine bandages. Not nearly enough to be fatal, but substantial nonetheless.
As if on queue you could hear Ace’s heavy footsteps, his voice distant as he called out for you and Law.
“In the bathroom!” Law called back.
You smacked his shoulder, holding a finger to his lips as you shushed him.
Ace peered into the room, gasping at the sight before him. There you were seated on the toilet, bruises and scrapes littering your skin while Law bandaged the worst of your injuries.
“What. Happened?” He was breathless, dropping what he’d picked up on his own run. Divide and conquer had been the goal, and now he ruefully regretted it.
“It was nothing,” You waved off. “I handled it.”
“My ass.” Law whispered under his breath. You shot him a glare, he wasn’t helping the situation, not with the way Ace was staring at you.
“Who did this?”
“Some no-name pirate. Chopper probably has a higher bounty than he does.”
“You let him get away!?” Ace asked incredulous. He pulled at the sides of his hat, groaning as he stomped his feet in frustration. You watched flames flicker upon his shoulders, his emotions all over the place as he contemplated where to go from here.
Law finished bandaging you up, wiping his hands to signal a job well done. “I’ll be changing that in a few hours. Don’t think you’ve heard the end of this.”
“Oh, c’monnnn…” You whined. “It was one time!”
Ace stood with his hands on his hips, one minute before you, and the next you were thrown onto his shoulder.
“You’re gonna point that idiot out to us.” He declared.
“Us?” You questioned, turning behind you to find Law already prepared, sword in hand.
“Us.” The man confirmed.
Loving them individually would’ve been a death sentence for the poor soul in its own right, but together? Even if he picked a god and prayed, not a being heavenly or otherwise would be willing to heed such a prayer.
I Love You
you guys remember how the last thing Cora said before disaster was “I love you”. yeah you doing that before going out. short and sweet.
repressed trauma go brrrr
Law watched you busy yourself with preparing to set sail with the Straw Hats, packing your belongings and choosing the appropriate outfit.
When all was said and done you looked towards him with a small smile. “I’ll be heading out soon.”
He set the book in his hand down, the thing forgotten a long time ago in lieu of simply observing you, drinking in the last embers of your appearance before your time together was extinguished.
Law stood up, walking over to you. Affection was still a touchy thing with him. You always allowed him to initiate it first, worried you’d only draw him away.
He rested one of his tattooed hands comfortably upon your hip, rubbing circles into your clothed skin with his thumb. His other hand was hesitant, fingers dancing upon yours then intertwining. He squeezed your hand three times in quick succession, something he recently began doing.
“You sure I can’t convince you to stay?” He mumbled, gaze drifting from your eyes to your lips then back again.
You hummed an amused noise. His affection was far and in between, but when he allowed that mask of his to slip, he was truly a sight to behold.
“You know as well as I do Luffy wouldn’t just let me go.”
“I can fight.”
“I know that.” You laughed, breathy and light, dancing upon clouds of emotion.
Law glanced at the clock on his wall, praying you wouldn’t notice and cut your time together short.
Of course, as always, luck wasn’t on his side. You noticed the shift, turned your head to look towards the clock. You cursed under your breath. Law winced as you spoke.
“I have to go.” You muttered.
Law sighed. “I know.”
You pressed a feather light kiss upon his temple, quick to pull away. The man found himself yearning for more but wouldn’t dare ask for it, not yet.
“I’ll see you soon. Don’t miss me too much.” You said, searching his eyes for the emotion that always betrayed his words.
He nodded his head. “I can’t wait.”
Taking your things in your hand you moved to the railing on the Polar Tang, the feeling of the sun welcomed upon your skin. You sighed. Time spent with Law was lovely, but you always found yourself missing the sun on your face and the scent ocean spray.
Feeling bold, you turned over your shoulder, flashing Law a bright smile. “I love you!”
Law’s knees wobbled, his resolve crashing down. You watched him stumble, faltering for a moment before you caught himself.
It was enough for you to notice.
You rushed over to him, holding his face in your hands as you studied his distant gaze.
“Law,” You spoke, attempting to snap him out of it. “Law, are you okay?”
“Don’t go…” He whispered, voice trembling.
“I’m here.” You reassured. “I’m not going anywhere, not yet.”
Law snapped back for a moment, but you lost him soon after. His hands cupped your wrists, that cloudy look flickering to your eyes.
“You can’t go… I can’t… Don’t…”
His emotions ran rampant in his mind, memories mingling with the present. He couldn’t form the words, so many things to say because he’d once left them unsaid.
His head fell against your shoulder. You felt him tremble, shaking as though afflicted by chill. You wrapped your arms loosely around him, rubbing circles into his back as you simply let him rest there.
You stood there for what felt like hours, worry enveloping you as you tried to make sense of the shift. But nothing came to mind, everything seeming so normal, so perfect. This was the first time something like this had happened. He’d watched you walk away so many times, bidding you a bittersweet farewell with smiles hidden behind a carefully cultivated facade.
Finally, Law spoke, loud enough that you could barely hear him, the lashing waves almost drowning him out completely.
“You’re not leaving.”
“What?”
“If you go…” He said softer than anything you’d ever heard him say before. “You won’t come back…”
You pulled away, watching Law slump then force himself to remain standing. You cupped his face in your hands, watching for a reaction. He welcomed the touch, relishing in your warmth, the sensation of your skin. Here, breathing, whole.
“If you want me to stay I will,” You spoke, entirely honest. “But… I know you don’t want that, not in the way you think you do.”
Law finally looked into your eyes and saw the honesty of your words, the vulnerability as you offered your entire life to him.
He hated it. But not because it was vile, but because it reminded him of a love he once knew, one he’d never been able to recognize until many years later.
He’d loved and lost, then been forced to do it all over again.
Law couldn’t bear the weight of watching another die right in front of him. Not when he knew your affection ran as deep within you as it did for him.
“I…” Law began to speak. You cut him off with a kiss to the tip of his nose reddened by emotion.
“You don’t have to say anything, not if you’re still unsure… I just wanted you to know how I feel, how I’ve felt, and how I will until the day I take my last breath.”
“Be safe. I need you here.”
Law pressed a kiss against your lips, a gesture that spoke more than three words ever will. Because for a man who cowered in the face of love and steered clear of emotions, this was everything he could offer and so much more.
“I’ll see you soon.” You whispered softly.
“I’ll be waiting.”
Hi! Here's your curious anon again👀
Will you be willing to write a poly!relationship with reader, Law and Ace? (Not a request... yet?)

“Oh my god he’s hot…” You whispered under your breath, eyes raking Law’s body as though it would be the last thing you’d ever see.
Nami elbowed you in your side, a knowing sigh passing her lips. She knew there was no point in deterring your whims, the girl having watched you flirt back and forth with countless pirates before. But now wasn’t the time, not with so much on the line. “Don’t start. We’re here to get Cami back and that’s it.”
You leaned your head against Nami’s shoulder, blowing a kiss at her with a quick wink. She rolled her eyes, catching it, then pressing it against her heart.
“Nami~ You’re so smart, I know you’ll get Cami back without a problem!”
“You’re impossible…”
“You love meeeee~”
“Whatever.”
I'm too curious. How many requests have you gotten?👀
