What’s up Gen Listeners? My name is Audrey Buchanan and I am going to taking over the NPR Generation Listen instagram account throughout the next few months to take you on a journey with some friends of mine who are going to be hosting their very first listening parties.
You might remember me from the #listeningtour, a cross-country road tour that NPR GL set out on last year, where we hosted custom listening parties with member stations like Marfa Public Radio and WWNO. Looking back it’s crazy to see how many awesome listeners we connected with along the way, and also all of the amazing people who were new to NPR and public radio.
So many of you reached out on social media saying that you want to host your own parties that we decided there’s no way that the magic could stop there.
Follow along as we experiment with what it’s like to get people together in neighborhoods, living rooms and music studios to listen…together.
