No More Smoke & Mirrors Women
I don’t care how much your whole outfit, lifestyle and makeup costs if you don’t care how much you’re worth. You should’ve seen a therapist 3 purses ago.
Visit your school’s guidance counselor or Human Resources at your work. Potentially, you can receive a referral to a therapist, counselor or psychologist in their network.
Spend the same amount you spend on cosmetics and clothes on your teeth and body. You can find dental tools under 50 dollars, purchase vitamins, a gym membership and cleaning products. You can’t have hundreds of dollars worth of makeup and no vacuum!
Look at how to build your own site, sculpt your body, eat healthier and save money on YouTube instead of watching hauls, expensive makeup tutorials and luxury living. You’re not doing yourself a favor lounging invested into viewing your ideal life instead of making it reality.
Force yourself to do what you don’t want to. The first step is getting out of bed. It’s literally the hardest thing to do when you’re depressed. To be able to live your best life, you have to make sacrifices. Sacrifice your sleep now by waking up at 5:30am so you can relax in Fiji later.
Shift your mindset into a growth mindset. You can desire abundance all you want, but I don’t want you to expect something if you haven’t attempted to move to square 2.
Don’t expect picture perfect results. Your results aren’t always going to appear like a lifestyle goals post.
How to Become as Materialistic as Possible
I would love to have a Chanel mirror that I take out of my Louis Vuitton bag to examine myself as I apply my Dior lip oil. It’s true that you can become materialistic by having luxury items and designer labels, but that’s only part of the equation. There’s a major difference between being materialistic and a billboard. Even if you wear a coat covered in Louis Vuitton monogram with simple designer items, it doesn’t mean you’ll look like a billboard.
Becoming as materialistic as possible means utilizing every single part of your items. Materialism doesn’t mean buying any and everything because of its label.
First, believe nothing is too nice for you. You could’ve grown up living paycheck to paycheck, but that doesn’t equate to you not deserving finer things. No meal, car, fragrance or store is too good for you.
Be materialistic with your health, too. Choose your teeth, body and health over anything luxury every single time. Buy an electric toothbrush, gym plan, customized vitamins and quality health insurance to keep yourself in optimal condition.
Research brands you’re interested in. These brands can be within your budget now and aspirational for the future. Starter brands are Coach, Michael Kors, DKNY, Tory Burch, Kate Spade & Rebecca Minkoff.
When you choose your brands, consider their upkeep costs. I would not recommend buying a damaged lambskin Chanel classic flap that costs too much to repair.
Next, purchase entry level items [from an entry level brand] and buy “filler” in between. My entry level item was a Coach bag from the outlet store. For example, if you buy a Michael Kors dress, buy clothes from places like Marshall’s or Ross that are of similar quality and aura. Elevate your wardrobe along with your purchases. Decrease your spending after major purchases.
Make a budget. You always read make a budget so you won’t overspend, yet you haven’t looked at your numbers. MAKE A BUDGET before you jump down the rabbit hole of materialism. You do not want to bankrupt yourself in the name of luxury. Negative amounts in your bank account will make you sick.
Don’t only buy something to have on display or else you’ll be a collector, which can spill into hoarding.
Buy what you’ll use. Money will run through your hands if you buy designer goods to stage for pictures.
Buy handmade items rather than machine made. Extra care is usually put into handcrafted items.
Learn what aftercare is needed for your items. Expensive items are usually their price for a reason. Research whether they’re dry clean only, common handbag cleaner supplies, handbag spas and tailors that are known for specializing in certain brands.
Only buy what you can afford. For example, if you see a $350 purse you want and you have $3,000 in your account, be wary. If this brand is known for having purses that require expensive repairs due to the sensitivity of its materials, consider whether your purchase will be worth it.
Under no circumstances buy material on a payment plan!!! Having your credit score impacted, wages garnished and legal fees aren’t worth a Gucci bag! It’s so tempting to see X amount a month for 12 months. Places like these accept payment plans that’ll put you underwater. Please don’t fall into the hype of keeping up.
5 Steps To Instantly Look Polished..🌹
Hey loves! Before this article begins, let me tell you Three important lessons I’ve learned over the past two years about looking well put together:
Looking polished is NOT about wearing expensive branded clothes!!!
Looking polished is all about getting the details right.
Learn how to tailor your clothes! Or visit a tailor near you!! You can make a cheap dress from shein romwe forever 21 that looks high-end through tailoring.
I divided the five tips into two parts, the foundation (base) and the complementary tips.
As the title suggests, looking polished is all about having a solid foundation. Mastering the base (skincare, posture, and good hygiene) can help you achieve a polished, put-together look. The complementary tips are also highly recommended however you can still achieve a polished look provided that your foundation(base) has been taken care of.
Make Money When You’re Young, Pretty, and Ambitious 💰
When you are YPA (young, pretty, and ambitious) the world is yours for the taking. Now is the time to make moves and mistakes to get yourself ahead. Being beautiful and savvy has the power to heavily influence your socio-economical standpoint in life.
If you’re ready to make a major change to your life and pursue the life of your dreams it all starts with money (and mindset!).
Blogging
Blogging is something anyone can do if they’re willing to put in the work. There are many ways to make money blogging. Ad revenue, affiliate marketing, sponsored posts, brand partnerships, and creating your own brand.
Provide a service
If you are in college, I highly suggest providing a service. Hair, lashes, nails, cleaning, laundry, or any kind of service. By far service-based businesses have the lowest barriers to entry.
Plus, services are always needed! Services in the beauty or domestic industries are always sought after.
11 Surefire Ways For Women To Get Power And Make A Ton Of Money
How did Gallop get the confidence to say what she thinks? To ask for what she wants? That’s what I asked her when she joined me on my Mentoring Moments podcast (released today). Here are 11 takeaways (you’ll hear even more in the podcast), surefire ways for women to get power and make as much money as humanly possible (all in Gallop’s words, edited and condensed):
1. I urge women not to look for just mentors, but even more importantly to find champions. There can be a tendency for the word mentor to sound very advisory, a lot of talking. I am a naturally action-oriented person who feels there is far too much talking in the world and too little doing. So I urge women to find champions because champions are people who make shit happen for you.
Look for a champion where you work because a champion needs to have a degree of familiarity with you and experience the quality of your work. Look around and above you, and decide who you want to champion you. Key thing is (and women make this mistake all the time), you don’t go to someone and ask, “Will you be my champion?” I’m all about communication through demonstration. You make a point of impressing that person with something that you do by presenting them with an example of how good you are, or how good you could be at what you really want to do, and you put that in front of them.
2. Never give anything away for free. What you have to offer any workplace (or any person) is your personal point of view, your hard-won lessons through experience. If I responded to every request I get to pick my brain for free, I would have no time to support myself and I’d be personally bankrupt.
3. Be totally unashamed about wanting to make a shit ton of money. Women are not brought up to think about money the way men are. To be taken seriously, women need to make as much money as humanly possible. Negotiate and argue for money, like all the men around you are doing. There’s a bigger point here. When C-suite men (and women) look at the spread sheet with all the company’s salaries, when they see that women earn less than men, in their minds they think, “Women are not as good as men.”
4. One of the quickest ways for women to make money is to invest. So please women, make as much money as you can and fund other women because that’s how we will all become billionaires. There was a whole bro network (white guys talking to white guys) who got tipped-off early on to things like Uber. That network doesn’t operate for women. Women, consciously get your ear to the ground and invest.
5. Do not let anybody tell you what to do with your own f*cking money. I’ve seen this happen (friends have similar experiences): A woman who has the money to invest, tells her husband/partner that she is going to invest in MakeLoveNotPorn and he responds: “Oh no darling you don’t want to do that” and the woman capitulates.
6. Social sharing can make shit happen for women. Social media is a whole new methodology to do what women have been doing since the beginning of time – sharing the shit out of everything. We make shit happen when we share.
7. If you are working at a place that does not welcome and celebrate your talent, somewhere that does not allow you to disrupt and innovate in the way that you want to, get the fuck out, get another job. There’s no point in being there.
8. Manage your own mind. Mind management tip: of all the things that stress you out every day, pick one thing and address only that one stress that day.
9. There is always a way over, around, under or through every obstacle. You just need to be creative about what that is. Take micro-actions.
10. The fear of what other people will think is the single most paralyzing dynamic in business and life. You will never own the future if you care what other people think.
11. The only person who can make things happen for you is you. People can help you (i.e., champions), but you need to make it happen.

a series of books you used to love?
Right before I went to Paris, I had this entire phase where I was in love with Ginie Sayles and her books, there were six that I used to spend so much time with and six that I was able to gain so much of. I made these six books part of my personality and I found that while they weren’t made from gold, so many chapters had the sort of advice that I couldn’t turn my back on and disregard, they’re older books but they still have gems.
I used to use these books as a guide to getting what I wanted with men who were older than I, I passed them on to a good friend who depended on them for getting into circles she wouldn’t have been able to and she was able to use them to meet the right men, she ended up marrying a plastic surgeon and swears that they were the key to her success, and I used them up until I met the right people and found that depending on myself and actually making friends was the way to go for me, not getting married as soon as I possibly could. They’re GREAT books for women who don’t have much, if any, experience with high society men and want to focus on getting into the right rooms, finding and maintaining relationships, and then settling down with a quickness.
There’s a lot to these books but you have to be able to read, absorb the information, take what’s right for you, and then adapt it for your own use, you cannot just go through these books and assume that you can use the information raw. Each of these six books is meant to be picked over and thoroughly used and I’ve found that the information stays consistent for a variety of foreign and western circles and men, all you have to do is be able to take what you can from the books, adapt what you feel you can use and truly absorb the knowledge in the books, and then put it into use. The key is putting the information into use and making an effort to put it into use, as soon as you get out and actually go about meeting people and making an effort to make friends, it becomes clear that some of the advice from each of the books is meant for certain situations and it can be put into use in a variety of ways. I had luck with my tips from this book in Paris, it worked in London, I’ve had luck in Japan, and they carried me through my time in the US and UK, they’re a set of books that give you a start and help you begin working on your weak points.
What are some classic movies everyone should watch to be able to converse with others in those circles?

For a super condensed list of classics by director:
- classic romance comedy: Gene Wilder
- classic thrillers: Alfred Hitchcock
- classic romance comedy (a little more contemporary): Woody Allen
- classic psychological thriller and sci fi: Stanley Kubrick
These are dead, canonized, well-respected, caucasian male titan directors that people drool over in cinema (except Woody Allen - I’m pretty sure that pedophile is still alive).
My condensed list is really for circles of people 50 and over. Younger than that and they’re not likely to know of the movie except for the major classics.
People will generally be super impressed that a person so young knows of their work (Alfred Hitchcock and Kubrick in particular!).
This was a great question. Being able to talk about “the cinema” shows cultural and intellectual depth in our society.
Happy leveling up! 🤎
“a lot of hypergamy girls don't realize that these men aren't stupid, they can see right through some basic literature quoting and posturing, and a lot of these circles also don't value intellectual rigor.”
So with regards to this point mentioned by anon let’s primarily keep in mind that all affluent circles are different. What they value will differ based on location, culture, upbringing, age demographic, often their religious views or lack there of. We can debate on this point for days on end about what we’ve encountered in different affluent circles and what rules we feel apply. There will be commonalities, but also a lot of differences in terms of what is valued.
Especially when we get niche specific, what I mean by niche specific is when you’re targeting affluent circles within different industries such as (business, tech, finance, science, medicine) or weather you’re wanting to break into clubs centred around hobbies such as (sailing, golfing, horse riding, art, academia, cycling) Different sets of rules will always apply from one circle to another for example if you become a member of the explorers club, you’ll come to find out that the people there value intellectual rigour and a curiosity for knowledge, because that is their ethos so you’ll easily build relationships there if that is a genuine interest of yours.
Anon is 100% correct though they can see through posturing. So in conclusion the key to overcoming this hurdle and successfully breaking into certain affluent circles in my opinion is to
1.) Get niche specific so that you’re building relationships with like minded people initially based off of your shared interests.
2.) Ensure this is a genuine interest and passion of yours, if it isn’t it will be easily detectable. You don’t have to know everything about what you’re interested in just a willingness to learn.
3.) Observe. Observe. Observe, humans are easily readable and what separates a unsuccessful social climber to a successful one is the ability to observe, learn and understand the environment you’re in to avoid making certain faux pas.
4.) If the circle you’re attempting to break into aren’t looking to expand their network to more people and are intent on gatekeeping, do not embarrass yourself by trying mold yourself to fit in with them. Just move on it’s never that deep
5.) Remember that every single person is or was a social climber in high society, they presently might not be but their great grandmother was. So there is absolutely no reason for you to be intimidated by them when most of them are just masking their insecurities underneath their Burberry coats.
6) Focus on finding your tribe of both affluent men and women who’s company you enjoy, rather than performing like a circus monkey to appeal to a group of people you don’t even like. Start with yourself and think about the kind of people you’d enjoy socialising with. The world is evolving at an extremely rapid pace. As someone in both business and tech, I can tell you that the number of millionaires keeps increasing by the day, so there is a man and a circle out there for you!
Thank you for coming to my Tedtalk 😂
THIS. IS. THE. BEST. ADVICE. EVER.
And I agree with absolutely everything you said. 😊
Very very true that every single circle is going to have its nuances so flexibility and ability to read a room is so incredibly important!
Also LOVE that you mentioned the importance of actually socializing with people you have shared interests with! Getting invited to exclusive events is great and all but if it means surrounding yourself with people you have nothing in common with, it's going to feel like torture.
Thank you for your Tedtalk. I loved it. It was incredibly enlightening.
