Video: LeakyCon London Kicks off in style thanks to Team Starkid - It's Kinda Cool

If you happened to be in the right part of London today, you would have been greeted by 1500 Harry Potter fans eagerly awaiting to get into the first ever London LeakyCon.

The convention, which is meant to be a celebration of all things geek, including Harry Potter runs over four days, and we will be reporting on each day as it happens. Tonight saw the welcoming feast which included talks and performances by many acts (including Hank Green – video to come) and appearances from Harry Potter film stars, Evanna Lynch and Alfred Enoch to just name too.

The highlight of the day was most certainly a group that hardly needs any introduction in the Harry Potter fandom, Team Starkid. Their rendition of Goin’ Back to Hogwarts had the roof of the Royal Connaught Rooms raised. Featuring Clark Baxtresser, Jaime Lyn Beatty, Brian Holden, Lauren Lopez, Joey Richter,  Dylan Saunders, Meredith Stepien, and Joe Walker of course!
