Just started watching Pretty Little Liars. I’m always looking for a couple to ship and I thought I found it with Aria and Ezra because I like them together. Well that changed when they brought in the new Jason in S2. I’m about to be on S3, and I really hope they explore that relationship. As much as I like Aria and Ezra, I would like to see her with Jason.

Let’s talk about Rafael for a minute. This man surprised her with a new place for their family. He asked her family’s permission before he proposed because he wanted to do things right this time around. He just told her he’ll put his dream on hold to support her writing and said “his time will come.” They’ve both come a long way individually and as a couple. After everything they’ve gone through this tired love triangle is back, which undermines their growth. Can’t they just be happy??

I need to watch the last episode of Jane the Virgin that I missed in like early December before the new episode tonight. I loved the first season but season 2 is kind of a bummer for me. :\ I was such a big Jafael shipper and they’re just kind of ruining Rafael, and Michael, for me. At this point I’m just hoping that Jane has a fling with her professor and we get on with our lives.

Yesss!! I recently just discovered this show after a friend recommended. I instantly became Jafael trash 😂😂😂. Loved Season 1. Season 2 not as much. I like Michael but I'm team Raf all day. I recently started Season 3 but I'm watching the newest episodes in Season 4 at the same time bcuz I can't wait. Lol!

One of the best and sweetest Jafael moments in season 1. He's had what looks like the worst day in life. When he walks in and sees Jane, he looks so broken yet grateful that she's there. I was surprised she said it first. He seemed shocked. At first I didn't know how he would react or if he was already there but clearly he was. 😊 #jafael

I'm confused. A lot of people seem to be Team Michael. Are we watching the same show? Im on Season 2 now, but I could instantly tell that Rafael and Jane were meant to be end game. The show was about the two of them from Day 1. It seems like the show painted Michael as the good guy and maybe that's why everyone hopped on that ship. Did you always think they were end game and do you still think so?

I still and always will think that Jane and Rafael are endgame especially the *crazy* foreshadowing that comes up in 3x20, which you haven’t watched but even in season 1, I think episode 5, Rafael says its meant to be. Characters in this story say things that they actually mean/is true, at least the big moments like this. Michael said in one episode he would love Jane til he died and well he did!

Now to get onboard with Team Michael. Michael was Jane’s love that was the boy next door, nice, kind type who provided a stable job and made her laugh. They had to try really hard to make Michael (and every lover that Jane has dated) likable because Rafael is obviously perfect for her. Even the showrunner said that they had to make these guys seem nice and good for Jane so that it kinda distracts the viewer from the fact that Rafael isn’t hers at the moment. But Gina today has (indirectly) confirmed that Jafael will rise and even liked a tweet of mine saying that–I was so happy lol.

That's great!!! It makes sense to make them likeable. But I also think some viewers focused so much on the "nice guys" and their likability that they wrote Jafael off as endgame because the nice guys seem like the better choice for Jane. I like Michael but he's still not perfect and has flaws too. It just seems like Rafaels flaws are talked about more.

Didn't Rafael give Jane her first writing assignment? The press release for the hotel in Season 1? I'm still on Season 1 but I feel like he is so supportive of her career as a writer.

Oh, wow, true. You know, I never actually realized that the press release assignment was technically her first writing job and Rafael gave her that job. It’s so cool that you noticed. But yes, yes, yes, he is SO supportive of her writing career. This is one thing that never changes throughout the seasons and actually in many ways becomes more and more evident.
