Also I have a bad feeling about Rue and Jules even though I love them together. I feel like Jules is only kissing on her because it’s easy to fall back to someone that genuinely loves you even when you might not feel the same way about them. I’m scared she’s only using her as something that can bring her comfort after that whole with Nate :(

Dany texting Jon from Volantis

Daenerys’ didn’t go mad!
Long post, but hear me out.
My co worker has read all the books and has had good character intuition and he doesn’t believe Dany went mad.
Jamie’s plans changed after he found out that one dragon survived the surprise attack at DS. There’s questions being raised, how did Eurons fleet know that she was going to be at DS?
Why would Tyrion even chance walking within range of Cerseis defenses at KL after Bronn showed up saying that Cersei sent him to assassinate them?
Before Missandei dies she says to Daenerys “Dracarys”. This isn’t a directive, she has never advised the queen, only translated. She’s translating to Daenerys that there has been a trap laid. That wildfire has been laid to destroy her armies.
Tyrion sent Jamie to save Cersei, to save the child she carried. Why?
TYRION HAS BEEN BETRAYING DANY SINCE THE DAY OF THE DRAGONPIT MEET!
Daenerys knew someone was betraying her when Tyrion walked in and informed her. She thought it was Jon. She hadn’t been eating because she knew someone might try to poison her. When she asked Jon is it fear or love? She’s not asking if he fears or loves her, she’s asking if she should fear or love him.
She starts with the fleet and the gates and the scorpions. But once the battle is “won” she doesn’t see any hint of fire other than hers. She knows that if she doesn’t set off the traps of wildfire that it will kill her men, and all of the Innocents. So she has to make the worst choice possible. She needs to save her people by burning the city and setting off the wildfire traps.
Jon notices this! He sees the wildfire exploding. He orders the men to fall back. He doesn’t go further into the city!
The betrayal for love will not be by Jon, it is already Tyrion. He never went past the gates because he knew that there was wildfire present. He knew there was danger. Daenerys figured it out and he was stunned by that. He watched as the keep fell around his family.
DONT GIVE UP YET JONERYS FAM!
@lovecomesinattheeyes well…it’s hopefull…but have you any proof of that?
Nope. My co worker said he went back and rewatched it cause it didn’t make any sense and he rewatched scenes from other episodes. That’s what he came up with. It’s all theory, nothing is confirmed. But it’s plausible.
Game of Thrones S02E04 “Garden of Bones”
one of the reasons this ending sucks so much is the implication of it
missandei dying in chains, the hound dying in fire, jamie going back to cersei, dany fulfilling a “mad targaryen” expectation
it’s like they’re saying “you can never escape your past, what you’ve been will always be what you are”
and thats a really really terrible message to be sending
Varys watching all this shit beyond the grave:
Robert Baratheon was right about every single thing
We love Lord Varys on this blog
The Master of Whisperers deserved better and was genuinely the only person who gave a shit about the common people
Honestly, I just need people to think about how Daenerys acted in seasons 1-7 when she didn’t get her way because that’s exactly how she’s acting now just on a larger scale.
Sansa did not appear physically in this episode and yet her neutral face of disapproval was the most powerful presence
Ser Brienne of Tarth!
i swear if my brienne dies :(
