The other day I got jumpscared by STRAIGHT remus. It hurt. My soul was shattered. I cant imagine remus with a woman , I fear he is gay to the core.

On a similar note.. Regulus is also gay, he doesn't like women. I fear.

"Jamie..?" Regulus murmurs, "Are you okay.?"

James just hums, still looking at Regulus like he hung the moon itself

"Jamie.." Regulus makes a move to pull away slightly, seemingly snapping James out of his trance-like state. "I'll ask again, what's up.?"

"You're just so fucking gorgeous, Reg.." James whispers like a secret. But James adoring Regulus was never a secret, nor would it ever be.

"I love you, Reggie." Beacuse James' love for Regulus would never be stopped. By anything, not even if the Gods themselves had forbidden it, James would always find a way to love Regulus, in every universe, all timelines, every possibility, James would love Regulus until his last breath.

Bobbing his head along to the music in his headphones, his tounge hanging out slightly as he paints , completly focused on perfecting those soft brown curls that he yearns to bury his nose in.

A knock at the door startled sirius out if his trance.

"Come in!" He calls

The door creaks slightly as it opens, revealing a very cosy looking remus. Sirius smiles to himself as he takes in remus chunky sweater and sirius absolute favorite jeans, finding himself staring at those perfect curls.

"Hiya moons, what's up?" He tilts his head as he asks, something James makes fun of him for constantly.

"I thought I'd check up on you, you've been in here a while. Did you need anything? A snack.. some water?" Remus takes a few steps into the room.

"A.. uh.. a snack would be nice." Sirius keeps his eyes trained on remus' face , feeling the heat climb up his own.

"Okay. Those butter biscuits you like?" Remus smiles.

"Mhm.. yes please." Sirius smiles back at him. Watching the crinkle in the corner of remus' eye. If sirius had to give an example of somthing perfect, it would be remus. Yes, maybe remus can't find that perfection in himself, but sirius sees it. Its the only thing he really sees at all.

jegulus microfic-snow day -big fluff ❄️

the snow fluttered outside the window , regulus sat watching it waiting for the cry of Harry, announcing the arrival of said snow.

Right on que , little thundering footsteps sound from the stairs.

"Papa! Papa! look look! snow!" The excitement in Harry's voice is unbeatable , and the shimmer in his eyes makes regulus smile.

"I've seen buddy." Regulus replies gently.

"Can we go out, can we! can we!" Harry is practically vibrating with excitement.

"Hmmm.. I'm sure your dad will go out when he gets home from work kiddo." Regulus smiles. "Plus , by then , there will be even more snow to play in."

"Okay Papa! Can I stay and we can watch the snow together?"

"Of course , Come here." Regulus opens his arms and Harry climbs into his lap.

"I'm home!" James announces as he walks through the door, toeing of his boots and dropping his keys on the table by the door.

When he enters the living room, he finds Regulus and Harry curled up together on the sofa, a blanket thrown over them, frosty the snowman running on the TV , both fast asleep. James smiles to himself , leaning over the back and pressing a kiss to the top of both their heads.

James makes his way to the kitchen , flicking on the kettle and getting down 3 mugs and the hot chocolate powder. Humming to himself he makes himself a coffee , a tea for Regulus and a hot chocolate for Harry.

Gods does he love his family.

when regulus proposed to james (bcs he absolutely planned an intricate day out for it) the ring was silver, and james looked at reg and said "did you get the rings mixed up? silver is your colour." and regulus replies "exactly."

James had a silver ring with a star engraved underneath and reg had a gold one with a sun <3
