Team 7 college au headcanons
Because he wants to become Hokage, he’s probably majoring in something related to government/law/poltical science. Minato and Kushina have high hopes for his future political career since Minato had held the title previously. Naruto has natural charisma and wants to make the world better for people who are opressed as well as making his parents proud. He’s great at things like public speaking/debating, but can’t can’t study by the books to save his life.
Since his clan is primarily responsible for his hometown’s police force, he would either go into justice/law and follow the family tradition. However he would have interests on the side like family history/genealogy or ethics since his older brother Itachi reccomended it to him. Of course he’s always top of the class/natural genius. he rarely talks but when called upon will always give a well thought out response in as few words as possible.
She’s the first in her family to pursue a degree instead of going straight into the workforce. Working closely with Prof./Dr Tsunade, she studies medical science/child psychology and well as studying other medical related subjects. She loves puzzles and putting things together to help people through figuring out why they’re sick. She has a soft spot for kids and wants to become the head of a children’s hospital. She works hard to be at the top of the class, often falling asleep in libraries from preparing for her next exam.
They all had some sort of gen. ed course together like speech or english and were placed in some sort of group project. Sasuke would try to do his work all by himself and then just come in with it all finished so he wouldn’t have to deal with sakura or naruto but would later listen to their concepts or critiques. Naruto would have so many plans and would need help to narrow down his options. He’d also be working up until the last minute. Sasuke would also purposefully piss off Naruto by playing devils advocate to all his ideas/coming up with an opposing position. Sakura would try to organize a working schedule for the group and make sure everyone is contributing equally and stop Naruto and Sasuke’s constant bickering. She would set up meeting times and would always be prepared with extra materials like notebooks, pencils or pens. They would all grow on each other and then just naturally hang out with each other when possible.
Naruto’s backpack is a mess, it’s torn to shreds on the inside, having used it since highschool. He has no folders despite Kushina constantly sending him supplies. He always manages to have dirty wrappers and snacks at the bottom of his bag. He hordes all his papers and only keeps one pencil behind his ear, otherwise never has any other utensils unless you count the pen caps and broken pencils at the bottom of his backpack.
Sasuke’s on the other hand, is meticulously organized. His bag is kept in the best condition possible, only worn in a few places. He’s frugal in the fact that he uses a pen/pencil until it’s all gone- sharpened to a nub or have no ink left. He doesn’t use a pencil case, but the little stretch holders that are already built in his book bag. He tries to reduce waste by mostly taking notes on his laptop or tablet, so he only keeps one folder for class handouts. If he has food on him it’s usually fresh and healthy.
Sakura’s backpack looks like its in perfect shape, and for the most part, is. However the inside is another story. She’s an organized mess. Her pencil bag, for instance somehow fits everything one could find in an office, post it’s, pencils, pens, highlighters, tape, even a mini stapler. It is massive and looks like its going to burst at any second. All her class notes are in one giant multisubject spiral notebook with colored divider tabs. Her handouts are in a giant accordion folder and is also a hoarded nest of papers. She can barely fit her scrubs and lab coat in her bag But she can navigate through it all with ease as she knows where everything is in her head. She always has a water bottle/thermos for coffee or tea and keeps a secret compartment for hidden candy or cookies.
At first they’d rotate whose dorm to have weekly dinners at and by next year they all rent an apartment off campus
They often study together or at least in the same room unless one of them needs to be alone to focus
If Sakura isn’t home by 12, either Naruto or Sasuke check the library or science labs to see if she fell asleep there again
They have a rotating chore list and naruto hates anything that has to do with cleaning and sakura/sasuke make fun of him/get pissed if it’s not up to their standards
Sasuke’s usually in charge of cooking/groceries because both Naruto and Sakura can only manage to burn water. He tries to make meals healthy as possible.
Sakura often puts blankets on Naruto or Sasuke if she notices that they passed out on the couch again. She also snaps pictures of them if they look extra embarrassing or adorable. The pictures are then put in a secret folder for futute blackmail purposes
