The year of 2020 taught me a lot about myself. I learnt how important it is to be grateful for everything the Lord has blessed me with. It also was the year of new avenues. I joined It’s Our Turn UB and became the Vice President of the 2020-2021 term. Through joining IOT, I met so many amazing people who I’ve learnt a lot from. I was also given the opportunity to help the people in my community, during a time of need through volunteering at Hands For Hunger. Although this year placed a holt on in person interaction, we still persevered by hosting webinars via zoom. We spread the importance of financial literacy and the opportunities that can come from social media . By hosting these events we were able to meet a lot of successful and intelligent individuals.
