i love being on this site. i love the little community i’ve found and the people who follow me and the mutuals i’ve made friendships with and the mutuals that i’m still getting to know. i love it. but at a certain point it’s hard to justify spending so much time on works that get bad engagement.

Not to be dramatic but I truly hate the Tumblr update. Unlike of all the social media platforms, Tumblr’s novelty is in the simplicity. So whoever is running this app needs to remember if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Respectfully, I see what y’all are trying to do, but I do not care about Tumblr Mart or whatever…it’s as irrelevant as the shopping tab on Instagram. It’s bad enough yall added the Live tab where search used to be and that jet pack lady or lizard ad. We get it!!! Spare us PLEASE!!! Move the buttons back, stop changing the icon to something weird, and bring back the good ads if y’all are going to shove them down our throat!!! It’s like living in a private neighborhood for years and then having random people move in and overpopulate the entire cul-de-sac like no this is our little corner of the Internet please leave us alone!!!
