Gustav Elijah Åhr (Allentown, Pennsylvania, United States; November 1, 1996-Tucson, Arizona, United States; November 15, 2017), better known by his artistic name Lil Peep, was a singer, rapper, songwriter, model, and American music producer. He became well known for having a strong emotional style in his melodies.
In 2015, he released his first mixtape called LiL Peep Part One, which generated 40,000 views in the first week, gaining popularity with the song "Star Shopping". Lil Peep's popularity continued to grow after the release of the song "Beamer Boy," which led to his first live performance alongside rapper and producer collective "Schemaposse" in March 2016 in Tucson, Arizona. Soon after, he released his first EP Feelz and another mixtape titled Live Forever.
