Atheism

Today, was a long day. I’ve been waiting to go home for like four hours now and that would usually not be a problem. I’ve been so tired lately, to the point where I’m starting to get concerned. I don’t really know what to do. I know that Tumblr is more of a haha’s kind of blogging, but I have no other way to really vent about how I feel without being criticized at home. 

So I’m just going to use it as more of a venting tool, almost like a less public/explicit kind of journal, mostly because there are actual people in my life that follow me here. 

If there’s anything in the news that you feel strongly about, that your family doesn’t exactly support. Do not let their apathy get to you, always speak up your mind about what you believe, always stand up to the people that you feel are not fair to you. If there are social causes that you believe in, even if you aren’t part of it. Stand up for it. Whether its gay rights, women’s right, the metoo movement, equal pay, black lives matter movement, anything with the unfair treatment of the muslim community.

There are many things to be passionate about, to fight for.... to fix in the future.

You are the key, your passion is they key. Your participation and your voice are the key.  

My family does not support my causes. But I have things that I care about, people that I love, that are personally being opressed. And I will speak out against the injustice that the face for the rest of my life. 

Don’t let anyone tell you that caring about something is bad. 

You are doing good. Take care of yourself, and your peers. Your doing things right...
