Twitter dump of stuff I've done in the last 6 (ish) months. I can definitely tell I've improved a lot in that time frame, even though I haven't done much.

I'm not sure that I'm back yet, but I figured I'd put some of what I've made here, just in case anyone still follows this.

Its sad, but I think I’ve lost the will to draw, at least for now. Maybe one day I’ll get it back, but for now I’m gonna have to declare this blog inactive. It’s been a nice run, and I really appreciate all the support I’ve had. Y’all have been great!

I’ve actually made a twitter that I’m more active on, though its mostly me screaming about weather and rt’ing a lot of MXTX novel stuff. But if y’all want to see what I’m up to (or not up to) I’m @ itsyaboinyx (without the space).

Gilded Devil

I finally had motivation to do some drawing for myself about a week ago, and I came up with this. I also started on another part of the incubus au today, and I’m proud of myself for drawing for fun.

I’m going to be working on For the Night, so expect to see updates there coming uh.... pretty soon. I don’t know how that’s gonna work with my notes and sketchbook back at school... but we’ll try.

Important, please read

I’ve received some asks requesting art, and as much as I would love to fulfill those (i really want to, goddammit), I don’t have the time or mental capacity at the moment, or really for the last month and a half. A lot of shit’s been going on with school and family and its taken its toll. I’m just trying to survive at this point, I don’t even care if I pass my classes anymore.

I don’t plan on posting anything on this blog (unless its school stuff, which includes anything in my sketchbook) until probably mid to late December. And thats a maybe, given how things are going. I really wish I could give you guys something good that I enjoy making, but I have nothing, and I will continue to have nothing.

But I do want to take the time to thank everyone for your support, whether its giving my posts a like or a reblog, following this train-wreck of a blog, or even just looking at my stuff. It means a lot to me, knowing that people appreciate what I make, even if its sometimes absolute garbage. I promise as soon as I’m able I’ll create something for ya.

I’m keeping all the req asks in my inbox so I remember them come December.

I fucking got into calculus... that stupid fucking placement test has been stressing me out for over a month, and its finally over! And I actually managed to get into the only METC 230 section next semester, ready to learn about basic meteorology!!

Anyhoo, the semester’s almost over and I have been working on a lot of art stuff, BUT because its either for school or for FTN, I just haven’t been posting it. If there’s enough of an interest for the school bullshit I have to make, I’ll post it, but otherwise, its looking like I won’t be posting any art until December (on here or on @for-the-night-official ). But when December hits... stay tuned!

Long time no see, everyone! I promise I’m alive… maybe.

So since I’ve been so long, I feel its only right to update everyone on what’s been going down that’s preventing me from updating. This is gonna get kinda long, so fair warning.

TLDR: Doing art for school/professionally and having energy and free time don’t mix, and once the semester’s over and I switch my major, we’ll be back to updating with new content, and redrawing all the pages out so far. 

Also! Tash is going to be doing NaNoWriMo, but they’d like you all to know they’ll be posting updates afterwards!

Announcement:

Art school is actual hell and sucked out both my love of drawing and some of my will to live.

So!! I’m excited to announce that as of a couple of days ago I decided to study meteorology instead! Hopefully this means I’ll actually be excited about drawing again...

I’m gonna try to do inktober (or at least some of it), and I’m hoping that being around my artist friends that are also doing inktober will help me stay motivated.

TL;DR: Art school is a bitch but you’ll be seeing new content from me real soon! Stay tuned!
