ariana grande’s ari perfume

2017/06/19 this took me so long................... but I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I was motivated not to give up because I really love how the real thing looks, too. the packaging is so cute and soft and the perfume is really nice. it’s sweet without being a gourmand. I wore some as I was working on this as inspiration. ♥

coles dark chocolate block

2017/06/18 this one was so frustrating! I'm still rubbish at highlights so I cheaped out and didn't really do it, lol. I had a really hard time identifying which colours to use. I feel like nothing I picked was bright enough and I don't know why !! the packaging is kind of a brushed metallic irl, if that makes sense. I am proud of the chocolate decal on the front tho. anyway, this chocolate is kind of a meme in australian vegan circles because it's so good and cheap. coles is a supermarket chain here, and this is their own brand dark chocolate. it doesn't really taste like dark chocolate, though, it's sweeter and creamier. so if you don't like dark chocolate, you should try this anyway, it will probably pleasantly surprise you ! I eat way too much of it...

db cosmetics mosaic blusher

2017/06/17 db (designer brands) cosmetics is an Australian drugstore makeup brand comparable imo to wet n wild. they used to have a pretty bad reputation, but now they’re making really good quality, low-price products. I got this blusher on clearance because I really loved the grid pattern, it reminds me of colour studies I did in school. it’s a nice natural, buildable colour with a subtle shimmer ♥

derma e overnight peel bottle

2017/06/15 I’ve been getting into skincare recently, and based on research/suggestions, I decided to try an AHA chemical exfoliant. derma e is a vegan and cruelty-free skincare brand and this was highly recommended, but it took me weeks to find - either the pharmacies I went to didn’t carry it, I didn’t have the time, or I didn’t have the cash. but I squeezed in on my break one day and was finally able to buy it! so I feel happy every time I see it because it reminds me of how long I waited for it. ☺️ it works great btw, it’s like my skin was born again after I used it the first time lol, so definitely give it a shot if you like AHA exfoliants!
