Hmm…

Making superpowers unique is one heck of a challenge, actually. Since the ‘super’ trope has literally been going from the dawn of like civilisation (eg : Gilgamesh, Heracles etc) any power you can think of has probably been coined. But uniqueness comes from execution (in my opinion)

You can have powers that are an exact ‘copy and paste’, but you could tweak it around just a little bit to make a dfference.

For example, take Blue Bunny

He’s your average faster than lightning speedster, fun and silly. But there’s a difference ; it literally runs through him , making him a human pikachu, frying his hair and making him somewhat visually impaired ( his mask helps). He doesnt just go fast without repercussions, he’s actively generating and conducting electricity with his body even when standing still, making him need to go fast. This deviates from the usual painless speedy character who can just zoom around, the worst effects probably being jitters or disorientation.

Think of powers not just a manifestation of non-human ability, but also how it could affect its users is a realistic sense, physically or emotionally.

Well, uh, its probably bad advice, but hope this helps :D

P.S MHA is short for My Hero Academia, a popular adapted anime about a world where there’s like an academy for super-powered kids.
