"Does it hurt you as much as it hurt me? To be so close and yet so far from each other?" A single bloody tear fell from the left eye and soon rolled down his cheek.

Oh, how it pained Armand to see Daniel. He knew he was having a hard time adjusting to his new life and yes, he was to blame for this, for he should have been there for him. But just as everyone said Armand was a cruel and wicked devil who seems to always do bad things no matter how much he wanted to be good.

"Fucking christ." The beautiful boy muttered just barely loud enough to be heard as he ran his fingers through his hair. Trying to stare at the sky just to avoid his maker's piercing gaze. "What do you want armand?" This was one of the times that him not being able to read his fledgling's mind came in handy. Daniel was happy to intentionally dodge his questioning. Not wanting to him give the satisfaction.

"I did want to see you again but that doesn't mean I'm happy to see you either. How do you expect me to react when you just abandon someone like that? Am I supposed to run into your arms? Give me a fucking break."

" Why do you think I am keeping myself away from you ? " Armand asked. "Do you think I like it? Do you think it brings me such joy?" A sigh then left his lips as he kept himself in the shadows. To face Daniel would be so painful for him and he imagined it would be worst for Daniel. "Beloved...How I've missed you deeply. But I will do as you wish and keep myself hidden from you."

Armand felt his heart aching as he watched Daniel. "Just enough for me to see you and enough for you to hear me." His voice was now low as his spoke, for he felt himself about to breakdown at any moment.

"Maybe you're a glutton for punishment? You think you don't deserve to be happy so you leave the guy you supposedly love? I could keep going." He wanted to look at his beautiful face. Those golden eyes but he knew he would break if he saw him. "Hope you're enjoying what you're looking at babe. Still beautiful right?" He grinned before continuing. "Tell me how much you've missed me. I wanna hear how much pain you're in. Maybe that will make me feel better."

Because of his turning, Armand had forgotten that the two of them couldn't share a mind anymore. Oh, how he wanted to tell him how beautiful he still was, how perfected and wonderful he still thought he was. But he felt it would all be too painful for both of them.

" You already know the answer to that beloved. " Armand whispered while his eyes lowered a bit. He slowly made his way around some trees, still keeping out of sight. "You know how much I love you....How much I regret leaving you behind." Soundly he made his way to behind Daniel within seconds and reached out to touch him but stopped.

" Daniel... " Armand whispered into Daniel's ear softly. "My beautiful boy...I love you, still and I know I will always love you."

Lestat, still wearing the red coat that Nicolas had done for him with the wolf's fur around the neck stood in the dark room, watching as Nicolas slept soundly. He wondered if he missed him, would he still love him now, now that he was this monster? The monster damned to all hell? A sigh soon left his lips as he walked over to Nicolas's bedside and moved some of his hair from his face.

The nights of the two of them getting drunk late at night and dancing around a fire while Nicolas played his violin were long gone. There was now darkness, pain, sadness and so much blood. But he couldn't help himself. He needed to see Nicolas again, even if it was for one last time.

" Nicki... " Lestat spoke softly. "Wake up." He said softly while placing a hand on Nicolas' shoulder and shook it a little. Oh, God the sound of his heart beating. It made Lestat want him, want his blood.

Slowly his light blue eyes closed as he laid his forehead on the glass window. "Just like before, please do this for me Nicolas...For I wish to hear you play once more." It seemed like a world away now -- like a million years had passed since the days of their youth. the days of their carefree conversations and laughter - forgetting the harsh world around them because they had each other. but these nights , it seemed his hands wanted to play manic strings and tones rather than the sweet beautiful sounds they once made.

he whispered , staring down at his trembling hands. ' all they produce is ... is madness. ' madness of his broken mind. the episodes were less oncoming these days as nicolas' mind tried to heal itself. but his maker's own melancholy brought nicolas to attention , bright ambers looking at lestat before he rose - making his way over to him.

he slipped into the others lap slowly , arms wrapping around his neck gently. ' i can never hate you... i asked for this... for you for eternity. '

Nicki, his beautiful Nicki sent into madness. How could he not hate Lestat for it? It was his fault, for he should have said no. Fought harder, told him; 'this is a curse. it is damnation.' who knows? Maybe Nicolas would have listened to Lestat. But now they will never know.

" It's my fault... " Lestat finally said. Soon he felt Nicki's body slip into his lap, Lestat closed his eyes slowly while some bloody tears rolled down his cheeks. "I am so sorry..." But how was he to know? How was he to know that Nicolas would lose his mind to darkness? After all no one was there to tell him this would happen, for it didn't happen when he turned Gabrielle.

Slowly Lestat opened his eyes and looked deep within Nicolas's eyes. So beautiful, so sweet. There were still his eyes. The ones that Lestat had fallen in love with so long ago.

The way Armand spoke Daniel's name drove him mad. It didn't matter how he said it any form of it just drove him to wanting him more and more. God he hated that. Why couldn't he just move on? It seemed as if Armand did very easily may he add. His eyes closed for a moment as he thought to himself. But he had to stop, for he knew Armand could get into his head easily and read his thoughts.

Daniel's mouth opened as if he was going to speak but nothing came out. All he could do was watch Armand. The way he moved closer to him sent shivers down his spine. But it wasn't out of fear. No, it was desire and excitement.

Now his heart was racing as he felt himself dropping to his knees without even thinking twice about it. His bright blue eyes looked up at Armand as he felt his heart skipping a beat.

" D----Don't... " Daniel started to say. Yes he wanted Armand's love and his blood. "Yes... " A simple answer yes but it got the point acrossed.

Heart racing now as he felt as if he was going to lose consciousness at any given time. "Who am I kidding? You have denied me all these years why would I ever think you would give me the very thing I long for? What makes it different now? Because I am old and you dont want to see me die? No that can't be right."

" Armand....Give it to me. I want nothing more than to be with you for however long a vampire lives for. "

armand exhales sharply as daniel falls to his knees in front of him. chin lifts, elongating him further as he looks down his nose at him. the man who lit the fuse, who carried the detonator the whole time — he can hear his own blood pounding in his head, a reminder of the frustration building until he thinks he might explode into flames spontaneously. he could never be this angry at someone he loathed nor someone he was apathetic towards. those were the ones that could wrong him with little to no emotional weight. daniel mattered. years passed and daniel was still embedded inside of him.

daniel's heartbeat is almost as loud as his voice. his fangs extract against his will, but he holds his jaw shut for a moment longer. he's not answering him. he's letting the seconds pass by when he says yes. to hear him ask for it pulls a shudder down his spine. he dragged him out of time and place with those words. he'd always said no. always. and now, he doesn't know if he wants to give it to him so he'll live or because he wants it to hurt. he's wavering in place.

Daniel felt himself being lifting off his knees and on his feet. This was familiar. His eyes soon locked with Armand's as he fought everything inside of him to reach out and touch him. Even after everything that happened not just that night between Armand, Louis and himself but between Armand and himself all those years ago, Daniel still found it hard to hate Armand, in fact he feared that he was going to love him forever no matter what he did.

" I understand why you did it. Am I thrilled about it ? Fuck no. But I understand. " Daniel said. "I was pumped with so many drugs, so much alcohol. No wonder why you turned me away each time." He added. "But still, to think of what that life would have been. What we could have been together....Do you, did you ever think about it?" His eyes softened a bit as he spoke. "Did you ever think about me?"

There was a part of him that wanted to ask if he had ever watched him as he got older, because there was always a part of him that felt as if he was being watched. But he always brushed that off thinking he was some druggie he owed money to or something.

The way Armand spoke his name made Daniel feel weak just like when he was younger all those years ago. But now it was for a different reason. Because throughout this time they spent together this time Armand had only called him by his last name so hearing his first name sent chills down his back.

" Armand...I am not that kid anymore. I am a adult and I know what I want...I want to be with you. To walk the ends of the erath with you. " Fuck he sounded so needy and weak but since things were getting laid out on the table, Daniel mine as well be all weak and needy right?

This part may have been risky but he didn't care. Daniel reached out and touched Armand's cheek and moved closer to him. "Trust me."

Like it was nothing he was thrown over his knee, spanked, and Armand didn’t even let out a moan. Instead it was a false sigh of disappointment, and he tried to rest his head on folded arms. He knew just what to say to get him a little angry, a little more aggressive.

“ Shame. My maker Marius would beat me with a whip, even when I was human, and it was much stronger than this. “ He smirked into his arms.

Lestat saw the tear and whipped it away with his thumb then kissed Armand's cheek. He then moved his lips to Armand's neck and bite down on it and drank from it. A soft moan then left his lips as he tasted Armand's blood. It had been so long since he had tasted it and to him, Armand still tasted just as good as the first time he ever bit him all those years ago.

Removing his fangs from his neck, Lestat moved his lips to Armand's throat and kissed down it slowly. Then he spoke the words, he wanted more and so he moved his bloody lips to Armand's lips and kissed him deeply. As he did so, Lestat wrapped his arms around him, pulling his gremlin closer to his own body as soft whimpers and moans slipped from his lips.

Tell me how badly you want me. I need to hear it, please tell me, for i want nothing more than to know that you crave for my love just as badly as I crave for yours.

" Why dearest Nicolas you look as if you have seen a ghost or the devil. " A small smirk formed on Armand's lips while he stepped closer, almost closing the gap between him and Nicolas. He then moved his head to the side while he thought to himself for a moment. This was going to teach Lestat a lesson once and for all, for he hated the sight of Nicolas. He hated how happy he made Lestat at one point, and he hated that he made Lestat leave.

This was many of Armand's powers. Mind fucking someone was something he was good at and he was damn sure going to use it as much as he could on Nicolas.

It's such a shame, Lestat left you all alone. Such a pity, isn't it? To know he never loved you.

The mind wasn't a tricky thing. What was tricky was keeping up with the lies and torment. But then again Armand had many years of getting it down just right.

But as soon as he had his guard down Lestat rushed behind Armand and wrapped an arm around his waist, pulling him closer to his own body.

There was heat between them, Lestat knew this and as many times as he tried to ignore it, it was no use. "So, you have been worried about me this whole time?" Lestat asked as he moved a hand to Armand's chin, moving his head to the side a bit so he could look at his neck. "And that's why you have been stocking me hm?" Slowly he ran a finger up and down Armand's neck.

Something akin to a simple ft giggle escaped the elder vampire. No matter what happened in their respective worlds, their lines would always meet, and this time maybe Armand crossed it first, but Lestat had now bolted over it. Lestat wasn’t the only vampire that was upset and lonely. They shared that fate.

He let his chin be lifted and head turned as he leaned back into his taller kin. “ Louis did that damn interview, and of course I was present in an effort to maybe control all the stories he wanted to tell the world. He had Molloy write it to find you. We both know that. “ He fluttered his eyelashes prettily, offering more of that throat. “ And we both know Louis drew more attention than just you. “

He opened his eyes then, settling an arm atop one of his, enjoying this embrace. Maybe he was pathetic for loving what he probably couldn’t have, but here he was. Ever so slowly he turned in those arms and those large eyes of his were a mix of worry, sadness and love. He reached up with a ringed hand to softly cup his cheek. “ And I know that even though Louis used and abused us both, that part of the reason you’ve become this openly vampire rockstar is to steal other vampires attention off Louis and onto you. “

His thumb caressed his cheek, being mindful of his claw. “ I know too how self destructive you can be when you feel vulnerable emotionally. So yes, my beloved — “ He held his face with both hands, lowering that forehead so he could touch it with his own. He always did love he was shorter than Lestat. He was Lestat-sized, in his mind. “ I have great worry for you, for all those reasons. And I will not leave you to take on.. possibly covens of vampires alone. “

Though they both knew that in his own way he still held a type of love for Louis.

Lestat looked deep within Armand's eyes. So much pain, sadness and worry within them. He didn't have to hear his words or read his mind, for Armand's eyes told it all. There was a part of Lestat that wanted to pull away from Armand's touch, but he found himself leaning into it, wanting more of it.

" Mon amour... " Lestat whispered softly as he turned his head to kiss the inside of Armand's hand. "Oui...Je t'aime aussi..." His voice so soft as he spoke, it was rare for anyone to hear this sweet and softness. There was only two people in his life that got to hear that softness Niki and Louis and now Armand.

Soon a tear rolled down his cheek as he leaned over and pressed his lips against Armand's kissing him softly and deeply.

Without thinking twice, he followed the heart and found someone alone. Pouncing at the chance he got he ripped open the girl's throat and drank from her; it was as if he hadn't eaten in weeks. When he pulled away, Daniel kicked the body aside and started to walk away. But there was something bothering him, something uneased him.

She hummed. Humming a soft tune as she caressed the side of her father's face. "When has the world not adored you? I was always jealous of that you know. Do you think I still adore you? Is that why I haunt you?"

" Claudia... " Lestat slowly moved his eyes to see his daughter, still as beautiful and lovely as can be. Slowly he tried to get up but was unable to. Then he felt her hand touching his face and this brought him to tears, for he missed her now than he ever did when she was alive.

" I am lost Claudia... " His voice so low and so broken. "I don't know who I am anymore." Slowly he leaned into her touch and pressed soft kisses on her hand.
