Henri Voltiere grew up with Percy Carrard in Lourdes, France. He is perhaps Percy's greatest friend and confidant and the one who all but orchestrated Percy's arrival at Ivory Academy. He knows (almost) all of Percy's secrets, and is absolutely the poet to Percy's scientist. He is fiercely protective of his friend, flirtatious to a fault and exudes soft confidence unlike Percy's sharp arrogance. Connection: Childhood best friends, possibly to lovers. Percy certainly is in love with the man. Ideas: After some time at Ivory Academy, Henri is unable to bear the idea of Percy facing this new life alone and does everything he can to also be admitted to the Academy as well to ensure his friend is doing well.
